Ashley pushed him away, but this time it wasn't with the hatred and rejection she felt earlier. It was more from sheer exasperation. She thought that he was so embarrassing that she needed to distance herself.

However, Elias pulled her back into his arms.

She closed her eyes and murmured, "It wasn't your fault..."

It was only then that she realized that this was a fake courtroom, with the people helping her being her colleagues from the industry.
