“We could have lived without all of this being put out on the table, Knightly huffs. “I swore to the grave and I just broke that promise, 

“I set you up with your ex,” I give in. His eyes snap to me. “You get so fucking weird just before you went on tour. The old man was panicking because you spiraled hella crazy. I chose Hailey because I killed her mate in Vegas the year prior and you’re fucking cool. If she wasn’t the psycho she turned out to be you’d be the alpha and your wolf wouldn’t be in the condition it is now. I’m really sorry about your brother. I guess we’re even now,” 

Everyone gets very quiet and I regret saying all of that out loud 

“I guess we are,” he finally breaks the silence but I swear the tension thickened enough to be considered humidity. 

“I fucked your cousin in Dubai,” Violetta blurts out averting the direction of the conversation. We’re both ready to kill one another if it comes to it. “I knew he was in love with you, but you were mated to the head honcho. I knew it was never going to happen and I just wanted the Prince to take me for a spin. It was great,” 

“That’s two princes,” Roy laughs. 

“Wait, you fucked James?” Baby’s mouth falls open. 

“No, Silas. James looks rough, but that bitch is as vanilla as they come,” she scoffs. “His rage is laid bare on the battlefield. It’s hot, but I rather get wrecked in bed if you know what I mean,” 

“Yup,” Bunny says from her little corner. “So does Perry. The King has a hard time keeping his hands off her. It’s kind of hot to listen to. Like a dirty podcast,” 

My mouth falls open and I have nothing to say to that. I can feel my face burning and it only gets worse when someone pounds on the door behind him. Not someone, the King himself has snapped because I’ve been blocking him since this stupid conversation started. Everyone in the room turns their attention to me and tries their best not to laugh. 

“Speaking of,” Violetta snorts. “Sounds like we’re about to get an exclusive to Very Perry Podcast,” 

“Fuck you, Bunny,” I growl. 

“My sister and our mate would kill us both,” she giggles. 

I take a deep breath and open the door. There is his in all his glory. I step out and close the door behind me. Before he can shout and demand anything I pull him to me needing him to just take all of it away. His anger dies in his throat as I reach out with my tongue. His entre demeanor changes from aggression to passion and the kiss provides more than I was asking for. 

“Never do that again,” he growls pinning me to the door. 

“Kiss you? I’m sorry,” I smirk, trying to catch my breath. 

“Perry,” he sighs. “What’s wrong?” 

“Just catching up with some old friends and if you remember our encounter with the rockstar in there you knew it wasn’t going to be easy,” 

“We’ll talk about this later,” he tips my chin up so I can look at him. He looks worried so I just pull him closer. 

“I promise,” I agree. “Give us thirty, I’ll let you know when everything is ready,” 

“Okay,” he leans in and steals another kiss before pulling away and leaving.

Chapter 192 

When I open the door they all start clapping. 

“What did I tell you?” Bunny laughs. 

“That’s my cousin. That was deeply disturbing for me,” Roy rolls his eyes. 

“So we all agree we’re pieces of shit?” I ask. 

“Aye,” they all raise their hands. 

“And we’re ready to fuck some shit up?” 

“Aye,” they all nod. 

“All right,” I take the laptop and the eight USBs needed to activate this. “This is the source of the detonator,” 

“Is this an old program?” Knightly asks and comes closer to us. “can’t with your new shit,” 

“No one can,” Violetta scoffs. “Bitch is getting craftier by the second. Look at her. In what world would we ever be taking orders from the Lycan Queen?” 

“Amen,” Bunny laughs. 

“It’s an old program. Darren created it just after he was sworn in. In case we needed an escape route,” 

“Before he was seduced by the power of the dark side,” Roman jokes. I’m passing it as a joke. 

“The only one seduced by the dark side was Perry,” Knightly interjects and my anger just snaps right back into place. “We’ve done some evil shit, but Darren loved it. From the start. If he created this it wasn’t for as an escape route. He wanted it for himself. The dude was nuts and Perry’s never met a fucking asshole she didn’t love. Hence, the Stockholm syndrome love she’s got going on with the Lycan King,” 

“Fuck you, Knight. You’re going to die a bitter man because of your inability to stand up to your father. You’re so scared of him that you abandoned your mate. Darren wasn’t perfect but at the very least he wasn’t a fucking coward,” I snap. “I told you to shut the fuck up about it once and if I have to do it again, we’re fighting,” 

“Let’s fucking go then,” he stands up removing his jacket. 

“Hey,” Violetta growls at the two of us and then laughs. “The air has been cleared,” 

“You got my fucking brother killed, bitch,” Knight growls at me. 

“You made me kill my sister! She might not have been blood but she was the only fucking family I had left and for your fucking information my Stockholm syndrome is your fucking fault as well,” 

“Come on, guys. We cleared this shit out so the old man wouldn’t fuck us up,” Roman pushes Knight back. “This is what he wants,” 

“Fuck you, Rome,” Knight turns away trying to catch his breath, Violetta and Baby laugh when no one else says another word. “Let’s get this done so we never have to see each other again,” I blow out a breath. “I’ll go home and you can crawl back into your fucking grave to wait and die,”
