Hearing what he just said, the two of them act normal. Halen just looked away and behaved nicely. As he thought, there was something wrong between them, and he could only try to get them to get along.

Suddenly they hear someone walking down the stairs. A guard soldier appears and finds most of the prisoners free.

"How did they get free? I have to report to the lord Duke immediately," the soldier ran up the stairs.

Ares doesn’t go after the soldier, as he had his plans to deal with Duke Alan. "Let the pups call for their mother. When the mother comes, they will be easier to kill."

While Ares takes care of the prisoners, Duke Alan has already heard of the events inside the prison from a soldier's report. Furiously, Duke Alan gathers all the guard soldiers and leads them to the jail in his residence.

Several of his trusted strongmen had also gathered. Of Duke Alan's ten confidants, one person with a strength level above 2000. Duke Alan himself has a strength level close to 2000 and is a magician.

Gaeta City is not a big city compared to other major cities in the Glarus Empire. A level 2000 person is complicated to find while in Gaeta city. In contrast to other big cities that can even meet someone who has a level above 3000.

Even so, the power of a Gaeta city could be compared to that of a Kingdom. Even a Kingdom will instantly disappear within a few hours if they deal with this city.

However, the strength of the Gaeta city would not be comparable to the strength of Ares and the power behind him. It doesn't take Hera to intervene; just with half of Halen’s force, the city will certainly disappear from the map of the Glarus Empire.

Using 20% of his mana, Ares transferred all the prisoners he had released into the forest near Gaeta city. He also summons Dorgan and lets him and Sierra guard the prisoners who had been removed while he and Halen, two of them, will return to Duke Alan's residence and give such a precious gift to a Duke who had abused his power.

A commotion in the duke’s residence is heard as Duke Alan goes mad and destroys several empty prison rooms. Duke Alan lost almost all his precious prisoners, including the notable prisoner he painstakingly captured to make someone his subordinate.

"This way, I have nothing to do with you. I'll go and find my sister," said a woman, and she disappeared in the blink of an eye.
