18 - Chapter Eighteen- Quinn Wolfin’s Point Of View.

One whole week had gone by since the night we made love, it had been a busy week for both me and Kane. I had to help the women in the daycare which really was great, so many little children. Thanatos had been gone all week long to do his paperwork at home. For once everyone was to busy including myself self to notice the growing life in my belly. The beta knocked on my office door, yeah how cool is that! I get my own office right beside Kane's office. he entered and spoke softly after he saw Forest asleep in his playpen.

"The pack doctor would like you the come down for your half a year checkup!"

"Okay I'll be right there, Could you watch Forest for me? "

" Absolutely Luna."

" Thank you, Beta Dante."

It was strange to see Dante playing beta vs his husband Tanner who I had always seen.

"Its no problem, Forest is far too cute for anyone to say no!"

"Indeed he is!"

I walked down the hallway and was met with Kane,

"You going for a check-up too, Mr.BigBadAlpha?"

"Indeed I am, My Gorgeous Luna"

I watched Kane scan my body his eyes locked on to my stomach for far too long. and I rubbed my belly I had been doing that a lot lately too. Kane and I walked hand and hand into the doctors' office.

" Good Morning, Alpha and Luna."

" Good morning."

" Hello."

I rubbed my belly again, not even realizing I was doing it.

"When did that start, Luna?" the doctor said.

"When did that start?" I asked confused

"When did you start rubbing your belly?"

"Um like 4 days ago?"

" When was the last time you and the Luna had intercourse Alpha?"

"The start of the week?"

"Did you use any protection?"

"No, The Alpha and I never use protection," I said not embarrassed. We are a couple and We don't have to use protection all the time.

"May I ask you to take a pregnancy test, it is standard every 6 months."

"I don't mind!"

The doctor told me all the instructions and I did that and left the stick on the counter and closed the door.

" Now we wait five minutes, " the doctor said

The doctor proceeded with Kane's checkup making him do a number of things that looked really silly. Kane's phone beeped saying the stick was ready and I was going to be the first on to see it. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door and almost fainted when I saw the two pink lines saying it was positive. I opened the bathroom door as white as a ghost and could only stare at Kane and the doctor, I was pregnant. Me pregnant, I couldn't believe it!
