I took a deep breath and drove onto the pack's lands, all the wolves on the land stopped and stared, the ones in human form didn't hide their glances, some spoke, some growled not knowing who I was. The pack land had not changed much and the house itself had been remodelled. I turned the car off and stepped out of the car. It was cold outside but it didn't bother me because my skin was like ice, to begin with.
Kane was the first one out of the packhouse, He didn't growl or glare at me, he smiled. He walked up to me and did something I was not expecting from the Alpha. He hugged me.
" Thanatos, I'm glad to see your alive" Kane said
" I am glad to see you as well Alpha," I said, showing my respect.
" Please come in, Quinn will be so happy to see you"
" I am glad, I must admit I have missed this place, it was always so much more than my home," I said truthfully.
We walked inside and their werewolf pups everywhere, Kane told me to forgive him for the mess of their house. I took a deep breath and could sense Forest right away, Kane called for Quinn and he came out of the kitchen, there were pups following behind him, they were all covered in different colours of frosting.
" Hello Thanatos," Quinn said he smiled and called for his pups,
"Hey Quinn, You must forgive me for staying away, I needed to protect him"
" I know, I have seen Thanatos, but it was time you come to visit him," Quinn said smiling
A little boy came in and stole one of the cupcakes off the trays Quinn had.
" Atlas you use your manors, you are not little you are 14, not 3"
" Sorry mother"
"It is fine, go play but first where is your brother?"
"Forest went down to the pond with the rest of the boys to go hunt Rabbits and Fis....." the kid stopped talking the moment he saw me. He rushed over and just looked at Me.
" Oh My God, you're a freakin vampire, I've never seen a real vampire before"
"Hello, My name is Thanatos" the kid's mouth just dropped open farther.
