The room stays quiet; after so long, I watch Alaric answer his phone and leave.

"I'm getting to bed." Standing, I walk out and go to Jake's room. Throwing the pillow on the floor for him, I change into the few items I have here and climb into bed.

I wake feeling the bed move and arms wrap around me. The feel of Jake's hand sliding down my stomach makes me move.

"You're meant to be on the floor!"

"Come on, babes."

"Don't babes me! I'm only here because you haven't told your dad yet!"

"You haven't changed, have you?" He laughs slightly.

"Fuck you, Jake. I'm not staying in here with you." Standing, I walk downstairs, lying on the sofa, I turn the tv on. I watch it, I should just sleep, but knowing Jake, he will come down and try again.

Somewhere in his mind, he thinks I am going to fuck him. A short while later, I hear the door and turn to it, watching as Alaric walks in. He stops and looks at me as he locks it.

"You're up late."

"Technically, it's early. I was asleep, but Jake decided to climb into bed with me, so I came down." I shrug and turn back to the TV.

"You should never have agreed to come with him." He sits and looks at me.

"I didn't know what to say, Alaric. He was saying you had insisted I came. Then I saw you put my phone in my bag, and I thought that was why. Because I had left my phone here, I thought I left it at the club."

"No, I came home and heard it. You had left it in Jake's room when getting ready." Well, that explains it. "How did your research go?" He looks at me.

"Good. I read quite a bit of the contract and searched a lot. The more I read, the more I realised I had no idea about the lifestyle, and what I did know was useless or wrong."

He chuckles and nods. "Look, I'm letting Jake tell me. My plan is, for every day he fails to be honest and tell me the truth, is a month I withhold his inheritance. That is after he earns it back."

"He will tell you when he realises you stopped the money." He isn't dumb.

"I won't be; there is a cap placed on his spending. He shouldn't have forced you to come back and lie for him."

"I didn't. I came under the belief he would tell you the truth."

"Is that the only reason?" He looks at me, and I nod. "About earlier."

He stands in front of me, looking smug. "Did you think I went to wake him?" I don't know what I thought. His hand grips mine, placing it on his belt. "Release me like a good girl."

My hand moves, and I unfasten his belt before unbuttoning his trousers. Pulling them open, I push them down with his boxers. My eyes widen, shit he's big. My hand reaches out and strokes along his cock.

"Wrap me up, baby girl." He holds out the condom. Taking it in my fingers, I open it before rolling it down his cock. He groans as I grasp his cock. He moves, and walks around the back of me.

He leans over me, his hands on either side of my shoulders. "Don't scream." His words end and he thrusts, my body flies forward, a scream escaping my mouth before his hand clamps down on it. "I said don't scream." He draws back before slamming into me harder.

I have no control of my body, it's too much, I'm not used to this. To the pleasure, to the feelings. To anything, I drown and hear him calling me his dirty girl. His hips slam into me harder each time as his hand silences my screams.

"Bite your fucking hand Ruby and silence yourself." I nod, and his hand moves. I bite against my hand, while he grips my hips and pulls me back onto him as he slams into me. My eyes roll, and I bite against my hand harder. He keeps going, pushing deeper. I swear he feels like he's hitting spots I never existed.

I lose myself as he groans, holding me against him. Grinding into me as he finishes.

"I—" His words stop as we hear a door. Jumping up, he throws my nightgown at me. As I pull it on, he drapes the throw over me before walking out of the room.

Shit, I stay lying down with my eyes closed and hear Jake walk down and into the kitchen.
