"Alright, stop fooling around," James said with a slight smirk, not appearing angry.

Esther knew he was obsessed with cleanliness, so his relationship with that woman must be pretty special to allow her to be touchy with him.

"You guys are here to get your things, right?" Esther asked, noting the woman beside James.

James noticed Esther's choice of words and smirked casually. "Yeah, we're here to get our stuff." Raising an eyebrow, James added, "Could you help me carry them?"

Esther was taken aback when he asked her to help. She had assumed they would each take one box, but to her surprise, James effortlessly stacked two boxes together and lifted them up alone. Was he reluctant to let his beloved new girlfriend get her hands dirty?

Esther was furious but had no choice but to carry the boxes downstairs.

When they reached the car, Esther, who was not that strong, felt exhausted. After putting the boxes down, she gasped for breath and said, "I've brought your stuff here. If there's nothing else, I'll go home now. We don't have to see each other anymore."

"Wait."

Esther turned her head impatiently. "What else do you want, Mister James?"

"Why are you so angry with me? Did I offend you in some way?" James asked, fueling Esther's anger.

"Why should I be nice to you, Mister James?" Esther mustered a smile through her frustration. We've broken up, haven't we? As I said, I'm leaving if there's nothing else."

James chuckled. "Of course, I stopped you for something."

Her mouth twitched slightly. She hadn't expected this scene. What had James said to her parents?

"Have you lost your mind, James?"

"Nope. I just came to tell you that if there's nothing else, then as my wife, you should move back in with me," James said seriously.

"Wife?!" Esther nearly laughed out loud, her anger mixing with disbelief. "What proof do you have that I'm your wife?"

James then showed her their marriage certificates.
