"What about me?" Darius suddenly interjected with a question.

"You... You've always been like a big brother to me." Joelle heard a faint chuckle from above and looked up, but Darius's smile seemed forced.

"Have I always been just a brother to you?"

Joelle hesitated to respond. "I've always seen you as my brother. Don't you see me as your little sister?"
