"For god's sake, if I read one more word of this textbook, my head is literally going to explode" I grumbled, tossing my free-market economics book to the side.

"Tell me about it, this is literally the most esoteric thing I've ever read. The author thinks he's writing Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations or something.." my roommate Paris,  who was in the same class as I said, rolling onto her side and stretching out her legs.

"Half of this book is just quoted from that book so you're not far off" I giggled, checking the mini-fridge for snacks.

"Do you know anyone throwing a party tonight? I'm so bored I'm actually considering going to bed at 6 pm."

"On a Tuesday night...I doubt it. Want to check the student lounge? See if they're playing a movie later."

"Already did, the RA's scheduled some dumb event happening all evening and booked the lounge for it."

"Dammit" I rolled on my back, out of ideas. I shoved a handful of m&m's into my mouth and tried to think of something else we could do.

"You know something, Selena? I think we're dick deprived. That would explain our boredom and..hanger" she joked, pointing to my candy. I laughed and tossed one at her. "Dick deprived? What did you just make that one up?"

"Hey, I'm serious! The last time either of us got any action was weeks ago when we both went home with a guy after that party."

"You're right actually. We've just been so busy with class and work and all that crap" I moaned, running a hand through my hair.

"Right. And now we're suffering from grade A dick deprivation. We need to get fucking laid girlfriend."

I grabbed my pillow and pretended to hump it. "Does that count?" I joked, standing up and going over to Paris's bed where I cuddled up next to her. "We can always text our back up, guys?" I suggested, opening my phone.

"No. We need fresh blood. Something crazy and wild" she said, biting her lip. She looked lost in thought and really horny. I couldn't blame her. I was craving a good fuck myself.

"We could check tinder for guys in the dorm?"

Suddenly we heard a loud crash above us and subsequently, the power went out in our room. "What the hell?"

We burst into giggles and went around the room, turning on all our non-electric lamps which cast a candlelit dinner vibe in the room. "Great, now I'm really in the mood for sex."

"I wonder what the hell they're doing up there?" Looking up angrily at the ceiling. Apparently, a bunch of tech nerds and gamers lived in the room above us and were always blowing the power outlets doing god knows what.

A knock sounded at the door and I went to go open it, forgetting I was only in tiny shorts and a comfortable tank top with no bra underneath. Paris was dressed similarly. I swung the door open and looked up at a very tall, big black guy who had a grayish uniform on. He was an older man and his lapel read Clyde.

Paris came to stand next to me and leaned on the door frame, twirling a strand of her blonde hair around a finger. He couldn't resist looking at our figures but cleared his throat immediately.  "Good evening ladies. We've documented a power outage in approximately 3/4 of the dorm building due to dangerous levels of voltage being used in room 7B."

"I fucking knew it" I muttered under my breath. "Would you mind if I come in and take a look at the outlets? I'd like to confirm no electrical damage has been done to the infrastructure on this floor."
