The companies revenue was in the trillions and each day presented a new and exciting release from the mega-company.

From my small town in Africa, Semira was uprooted and flown in a personal air carrier to San Francisco, a land she had only ever read about in books and articles. In this eclectic metropolitan stood Enviro's largest headquarters in an area called Silicon Valley. Semira could hardly believe how beautiful and colorful everything seemed to be. Enviro had provided her with her own personal driver who took her directly from the airport to a gorgeous, fully paid-for private condo that overlooked the Pacific Ocean. The condo was in a private community where the other 19 interns lived as well. That entire area belonged to Enviro and a number of venues, bars, markets, restaurants, and entertainment spaces built just for us- everything free to use as we pleased.

Semira could describe this slice of paradise as nothing more than a utopia one never knew they could actually imagine. It was so beyond her expectations that it overwhelmed her and struck her with a deep, guttural sense of pride and fear. She knew she was placed here for a reason and planned to make the absolute most of this experience.

She thanked her driver, Ziggy, as he helped take her bags inside. She looked in awe around her, not knowing where to look first. A smart alarm system greeted her by name and welcomed her to her home. The space was simply unreal. It was a two-level condominium with panorama ceiling to floor windows that overlooked endless miles of the evening skies. The sherbert swirl of orange and pink clouds settled on the blue mountains that appeared to be sinking into pools of gentle fog.
