“Mr. Lodge, I don’t understand what you mean by that.” 

“Why are you treating Evelyn like this? Do you have to go this far?” 

Faced with Brian’s questions, Ariana calmly said, “Brian, you’re being way too biased. Dou think Evelyn treated me horribly? She tore up my exam paper and gave me a zero. She didn’t want me to graduate. I only reported her. What’s wrong with that?” 

“You…” 

“I guess you already knew what Evelyn did to me. But you didn’t stop her. Instead, you came to blame me. I actually thought you were fair, but it turns out you only care depending on who it is.” 

Ariana had long known that if anything involved Evelyn, Brian would protect Evelyn without hesitation, no matter what she did. 

“But what can you do now? You got here too late, and it cant be undone. If you really can’t stand to see Evelyn expelled, then figure it out yourself.” 

Ariana walked straight past Brian. 

Emily wanted to stop her, but Brian stopped Emily. “Let her go!” 

“But…” 

Emily was stunned. 

Brian had come here specifically to fix Evelyn’s situation and to have Christopher restore Ariana’s original grade. 

Ariana had misunderstood, but why wouldn’t Brian let her explain? 

“Mr. Lodge, Ms. Torrey reported this to the disciplinary committee. There was nothing I could do. Now I might lose my position as dean. I hope you can help me!” 

Christopher was desperate for Brian’s help, but Brian didn’t care. He suddenly grabbed Christopher by the collar and said coldly, “You saw Ariana’s exam paper. You knew there was no way she got a zero. Why are you still covering for Evelyn?” 

“I… I…” 

Christopher could see that Brian was angry, and he felt trapped. 

Why was he still covering for Evelyn? Of course, it was because of Brian.

Before Christopher could finish, Brian walked away. Emily followed right behind him. 

No one was going to help Christopher out of this.

Derek stated Christopher’s order plainly, “You all are expelled.” 

That one sentence chilled Evelyn to the core.
