They thought they had covered their tracks perfectly, even cutting the power to the proctor’s office floor beforehand. 

Who had exposed them? 

“Mr. Stewart, do you have any proof?” Evelyn asked, trying to keep her composure. 

However, Derek had heard enough of their excuses. He said flatly, “What more proof do you need? The disciplinary committee has it all. The matter has gotten out of hand, and the committee got involved. All the evidence is there. You not only changed your own papers but also tore up someone else’s. Evelyn, as the president of the student union, you will be expelled. You should worry about yourself now.” 

The student union members panicked. 

“Mr. Stewart, this has nothing to do with me! I didn’t alter my exam paper! Those were my real grades!” 

“Right, Mr. Stewart, Evelyn did all of this! It’s not our fault! She’s the president and we had to listen to her!” 

“Yes! She’s the one who tore up the exam paper! We never told her to do that!” 

As soon as the truth came out, everyone dumped the blame on Evelyn. After all, if Evelyn hadn’t come up with this. idea in the first place, they never would have done something so risky. 

None of them knew the passing standard would be lowered so much this year. Their scores would have been enough to graduate. At worst, they could have retaken the exam. 

But Evelyn insisted no one would find out, so they went along with it. 

Now that they were being expelled, they obviously wanted to push all the blame on Evelyn. 

Evelyn steadied herself and asked, “Mr. Stewart, did this order come directly from Mr. Gail?” 

“Of course, it did. You think I have the authority to expel you?” 

Derek added, “As for the rest of you, leaving now is your best option. You can still transfer to another university or study abroad. But Evelyn, you’re officially expelled. Once that happens, getting into another college won’t be easy. But then again, you don’t really need a degree, do you? With Mr. Lodge backing you, I’m sure he’ll take care of everything for you, right?” 

Though the college was full of students from wealthy families, Brian was the biggest name in town. 

Evelyn clenched her fists. If they knew Brian had her back, why would they still expellier? 

How could Ariana manage to call the disciplinary committee and blow everything up like this? 

Evelyn rushed out of Derek’s office and tried to call Brian. But when she looked up, she saw him standing right there. 

“Brian!” Evelyn immediately grabbed Brian’s arm. “They want to expel me. Help me! I can’t be expelled!” 

Normally, Brian would have handled this without hesitation. But this time, he pulled his hand away from Evelyn. Seeing this, Evelyn was stunned.
