Every hide–out, Greg had marked on the map, had been searched and we had only found a handful of survivors. Seven She–wolves, a male, Nora and a baby boy were all that was left of all the Pack’s Alpha Max had slaughtered. 

Today the last of our pack–members will return to the Black Moon Pack, the male, Nora and the baby boy would be coming with them. The seven She–wolves didn’t have to travel, after all we found them not far from here. 

Alpha Owen has taken them in to his Pack and I have auspicion he will find his Mate in the woman he has been looking after. As soon as everyone was back here, we would be able to question the male Jenna and Paul had found. 

Paul had informed me that he needed medical attention, so we cleared a room in the infirmary and Guards will be outside, in place. I walk into the living room, seeing Dagmar on Maddox’s lap and a smile appears on my face. 

I am still getting used to seeing them together, but they are perfect for each other and they look so happy. 

I can’t wait to get home and see the look on Elsa’s face, when she sees the two of them. 

She will scold me for not telling her, but it is worth it and she will agree with me in the end. 

We hear a car pull up to the front of the house and we all walk to the front door. Rico and Samantha had picked up Julian and Glenn on the way back and it is good to see their smiling, happy faces. 

Maddox hands Rico a tablet with a file on it and he starts reading it. He doesn’t say anything, but his facial expression is no longer a happy one. Julian turns towards him and it looks as if he wants to ask something. but Maddox just shakes his head. 

Apparently we just have to wait until the rest is here to find out what those files entail. Then another car pulls up to the house and Jenna and Paul jump out of it Jenna opens the backdoor and holds out her hand to assist someone to exit the car. 

Marcus walks around the back of the car and I realize it must be Lily that needs help, but why. A smile appears on Marcus‘ face, when he looks down and when Jenna steps back I see Lily holding a baby in her 

artis. 

“What?” I hear Rico and Julian mutter and I hear Dagmar and Maddox chuckle. Marcus has his hand on Lily’s lower back as they walk towards us and with his other hand he is adjusting the blanket on the baby. 

Dagmar walks up to Lily and looks at the baby in her arms “Hello, Jason. Nice to meet you.” She the meantime everyone has gathered outside and they are staring at the baby in Lily’s arms.

Maggie–pulls Sienna with her as she stands next to Lily and they both smile at Jason, who is tilting his head back to look their way. “Okay, now that you have all seen him, let’s get inside.” Maddox says and he turns. around to walk back in to the house. 

I sense that he is uncomfortable, but I don’t know why Dagmar follows him and grabs Itis hand, I can see she is giving it a squeeze.

She hands him to Marcus and I have to stifle a laugh, because it kind of looks ridiculous a big warrior holding a tiny baby. Marcus‘ head snaps up to mine and says “You think this is funny? Wait until you are holding your own.” 

The others start laughing and I can’t help but agree with him. We go over the file Stephan send, not that he had much to tell and what he had found out was not something useful. 

But there was still much he had to go through, so we just have to wait patiently. “What about the male, Jenna and Paul found? Can he be questioned?” Rico ask and we all look at the Pack–Doctor, 

He looks at Maddox and says “He is dying. He told me you guys found him in front of his Mate’s cage. He has given up on living and I can’t tell you how much longer he has.” 

Maddox tells Jenna and Paul to go talk to him, get as much information as they can and then to report back to him. 

After they leave for the infirmary, John walks in with Nora and Glenn walks over to her. He holds out his hand and he leads her over to the couch. 

Maddox sits across from her, he looks her in the eye and starts asking her questions about Alpha Max, the attack on her pack and other survivors. She answers any question he asks and confirms what Greg had told 

Us. 

She starts crying as she tells us about the She–wolves and their Mates and that is my cue to get Greg. He is still not aware of the fact that we found her and it is time that they get reunited.
