Chapter 357 All Mine

As time gets closer to midnight, I am talking with Dad, Echo is sitting in the back of my head, watching the clock-hands move in to place.

“Mate, Mate, Mate.” Echo starts chanting as the clock strikes midnight, a crashing sound interrupts her and my attention gets drawn to where the noise came from.

My eyes lock with those of Amir as he stalks towards us and I slowly get out of my seat, before a realization hits me. I don’t have the poison I need to take and it only works during the first marking, according to Clover.

I see Clover struggles to get out of Zeke’s arms and after I see her whisper something in his ear, he jumps up with Clover in his arms. She holds a small vial in front of Amir’s face and he slows down to take it from her hand, before he walks towards me again.

“MINE” Matrius roars as Amir pulls me into his arms and he buries his nose into my neck, inhaling my scent.

Amir lifts me up and as I wrap my legs around his waist he walks out the door, heading to the building where he lives.

He opens the door to his room and kicks it closed behind him, after he has carried me up all those flights of stairs. He lets me glide down his body and I can feel his hard-on as my feet touch the ground.

“You need to take this before we take this any further, if you don’t, you will never get answers.” He whispers as he holds up the vial.

I take it to twist the cap off and chuck it down before I can change my mind, regretting it immediately.
