Chapter 411
Mack’s p.o.v.

I dread walking into the house but I doubt Diego is going to kill me, he knows he isn’t a match for me and I know he just wants to see his Daughter happy. What I didn’t expect to hear was that Diego offered us to move into the house, but Commander agrees with him and not only on the fact that she will still have access to her workspace in the attic. I think I just lost my Lycan to dreamworld, trying to picture our future with Pups in it.

Maleah seems to be lost in thought as I look at Diego and nod my head, I believe us moving into this house would be the best solution. “Your Dad already offered me a room in your Quarters, he agrees with me this is the best place for the two of you to live and with what Maleah has up in the attic and Tara’s old room this will stay her home.” Diego says as he gets up. Maleah doesn’t even notice that he walks out the room and I can see that she is talking to Fortune.

She doesn’t even notice it when he kisses her on her forehead and he shakes his head as he says goodnight, walking out of the house with a bag in his hand. Looks like Dad is getting another roommate and I am moving into this house with my Mate. I get to wake up with her in my arms every morning and I get to go to sleep with her in my arms every night, “Unless she has a job to do.” Commander points out and I wonder how that is going to work in the future.

I will never ask her to stop doing what she does, not when it comes to her fashion or her assignments and I will gladly stay at home with any Pups we might have in the future. “Where did Dad go?” Maleah asks and I tell her he left about fifteen minutes ago, “He is moving in with my Dad, both of them are on the same page when it comes to us moving into this house.” I tell her and I can tell that something is on her mind.

“Why don’t we turn in for the night? You can tell me about whatever is running through your mind in the morning.” I say as I pull her of the couch and into my arms. I kiss her before I lift her up bridal style and walk out of the living room, I don’t bother locking the front door because Diego did that when he left. It isn’t difficult to find her room and I can tell that it is the biggest room in the house, her bed on the other hand is a different story.

I look from the bed to Maleah and back again, until it seems to sink in why I am doing it and she starts laughing uncontrollably. I can barely hold her in my arms with her laughing, so I drop her on the bed and that results in her laughing even louder. I just look at Maleah as she is rolling around on her bed, tears rolling down her face from laughing and I just enjoy watching my Mate being happy.

By the time she quiets down I can tell she is exhausted and before I get a change to say something I hear her breathing even out. I am battling with myself on whether or not to undress her, but I doubt she will be comfortable sleeping in her clothes and I decide to take her clothes of before crawling into bed myself. Like Maleah I have no trouble falling asleep and I believe they could have shot a cannon and I would sleep through it.

I wake in the morning from fingers tracing the tattoo on my chest, it is an image of Commander howling at the Full Moon with a forest behind him. The tattoo is on the right side of my chest, but it is an unfinished work and now that I have found my Mate I can finally finish it. I drew the complete tattoo when I was sixteen, even though I can’t draw at all and the Lycan that placed the tattoo drew the final picture.

He made sure it was possible to split it in two without anyone asking questions, I told him to hold on to the drawing and that I would be back with a picture of my Mate’s Wolf or Lycan. “He really captured Commander, it is amazing.” Maleah says and I tell her it isn’t done yet. She sits up straight as she keeps looking at the tattoo and she traces the forest on the left side of the tattoo, “It looks complete to me.” Maleah replies.

“Tonight we will let Commander and Fortune spend some time together, they will be able to tell us if the bond is completed. If it is I can promise you that you will be mine by morning, my Angel.” I whisper in her ear as I enjoy the sparks that run across my body where her hands are touching me and after a few more minutes I step away from her to let her finish with her morning routine. I hand her the journal before we walk out the door and I am surprised to see Diego waiting for us.

“We need to act as if you came to get us this morning, some of Tara’s old friends are asking questions.” He says before we walk towards the Pack-house and I can see a few females on the front porch, each of them staring at Maleah. “Are you sure you can’t tell me just a tiny bit about the outfits for the Spring Ball?” I ask and Maleah looks at me, “Which Alpha send you, Mack?” She asks and I can tell she isn’t really mad at me.

I raise my hands as I tell her they are just curious, “Well, you can tell them that Luna Elyse asked for a very feminine outfit.” is her response. “If you have a brain up there, Head Assassin, you might remember what the favorite color is of most females is.” My jaw drops not only from what she is implicating but also because she sounds so damn condescending and I watch the smirk on Diego’s face grow as she places a hand on her hip.

“You have got to be kidding me, Miss D’Angelo.” I say and every head around us snaps in Maleah’s direction. “Did no one know that Maleah and Miss D’Angelo are the same person?” I ask Diego trough the mind-link and I know he is wondering about the same thing as I am, why did Tara never mention this to anyone? “Do you think I would be kidding about my designs or the wishes of my clientele, Head Assassin?” Maleah asks and Commander is rolling around in my head.

“Fuck, you better make sure you never piss off our Mate.” He says before laughing his ass off again, I decide to end this conversation before she bites my head off. “Point taken, Miss D’Angelo. I will tell them you are bound by designer-client confidentiality.” I say before I guide her up the steps to the front door.
