Chapter 436
Maleah’s p.o.v.

“Can you tell me about your new assignment?” I ask as I make myself comfortable on Kay’s chest, it is quiet for a while and I believe one of them is asking one of our Alphas for permission to tell me about this new assignment.

“Dax has given his permission, he is hoping you might be able to help out. Our Scout wasn’t able to find anything on the Pack-member that is causing trouble. He said it is almost as if she vanished into thin air, the places the Alpha mentioned where she could be were a bust and he wonders if he had been telling the truth.” Mack says.

Before he tells me that they figured out that the female in the picture, provided by the Alpha, has to be his Daughter and that she probably escaped the territory about two months ago, I shoot up straight as I look at Mack. “Can I see the picture?” I ask him because I have a feeling I have an answer for them.

Mack gets up to grab his phone and just as he puts his hand around it he gets a notification, he pushes a few buttons before he turns it to me and I hear Fortune growling in my head.

“Let’s go, I have answers but I think our Alphas want to hear them too.” I say as I get of Kay’s chest and make my way into my bathroom, starting my morning routine with my thoughts running a hundred miles an hour through my head.

“Calm down, Angel. You are making us dizzy.” Levi says teasingly.

I stare at him in confusion until it sinks in, they felt my turmoil as I was processing what I just found out and I tell Levi that he should get used to it.

“I have had a puzzle in my mind for a few weeks now and you just provided me with the last piece to solve the puzzle. When that happens my mind starts running in every direction and it last as long as it takes me to solve the puzzle.” I tell Levi as I look at him through the mirror and I smile when he pulls the braid from my hair, before he starts brushing my hair.

I close my eyes for a moment to enjoy this special moment with Levi and I slowly open them when he whispers in my ear to leave it down, “I like running my hands through your hair.” He says before he places a kiss under my ear and I giggle as it tickles.

I look in the mirror at my three Mates and I smile when I realize that it is a good idea that we will move to another house, let’s just hope that the bathroom is much larger in the other house.

“What is that smile about?” Kay asks.

“I hope that at least one bathroom in that house you’re building is big enough, it is a bit crowded in here.” I tell him with a smile on my face.

Levi and I lay down next to Kay while Maleah is sprawled across his chest and we just lay there as we all go through the same thing, getting used to feeling the other’s emotions.

The moment Maleah asked about our latest assignment I linked Dax to ask for permission, even though I knew he would tell me to tell her everything and I ask him to send me the picture of the young female involved.

I can’t read her face but the moment I show her the picture I feel her anger spike and instead of asking questions I just get ready for the day, in the meantime linking our Alphas that we might get some answers to this case.

Commander chuckles when we hear her complain about the size of her bathroom and I am glad that Kay kept in mind that Lycans have pretty huge Humans when he designed the bathrooms, it will make this less annoying in the future.

We keep bumping into one another as we try to maneuver through the bathroom, it doesn't take as long to get ready and as we follow Maleah out of the house I see her typing on her phone.

None of us says a word as we make our way to the Pack-house because if there's one thing we have figured out about our Mate already is that when she says she has something that will answer some of our questions than she has those answers for us.
