Feeling a hand on my arm, I turn my head towards the She–wolf attached to it. While I hear her talk, my Lycan; Cole, stirs. He does not appreciate that the She–wolf is touching us, and I agree with him on that.
My Pack knows I have no interest in women. And with that I put the She–wolf in her place and when I hear Jenna and Dagmar behind me, I know trouble is coming.
The She–wolf makes a very inappropriate remark towards Dagmar, and it is Cole that reacts. When she lands on the floor on the other side of the room, I stalk over to her and restrain Cole from acting.
It takes a lot to get back control, because a part of me wants to let him punish her. Making sure that she will not bother us again I send her out of the room.
Lily walks in, announcing lunch is ready and another She–wolf runs in to her on purpose. I am glad Marcus is fast enough to catch her before she falls. And I see that every Pack member is hurrying out of the living–room.
Peering into the dining–room I watch them taking a seat, not concerning themselves with their guests.
Dagmar
I decide to walk towards the kitchen, to see if we can have our lunch there. There are three Omega’s in the kitchen, next to Lily. All of them, with the exception of Lily, move into a corner with fear written all over their faces.
Turning my attention to the Omega’s, I see that their eyes are becoming ever bigger. That is when I realize that my Squad is standing behind me and I know that that looks very intimidating.
“Please, continue with what you were doing. We were just looking for a place to eat our lunch.” Lily looks at me and gives me a small smile.
She then turns to a door on her left and opens it. “You can sit on the porch, if that is okay.” I nod my head and say thank you, before walking out on the porch to find a place to sit.
The men follow and spread out, finding their own seats. Jenna flops down on the couch next to me and closes her eyes for a second. “What’s wrong?” I ask.
“These people are selfish. They only think of themselves. I’m going to kick some ass if they keep this up.” We all start laughing because we know that Jenna will do just that.
And even if they would change this very second, which we know they will not, it would not stop her from kicking their asses for their behavior.
Maddox looks at Jenna with a smile on his face and says: “I guess not everyone can be as sophisticated as you are.” Which has us all laughing again. An Omega walks out with our lunch, and we thank him.
He looks at us in surprise and gives a small smile. Seems that we were right, this Pack does not treat their Omega’s properly. Like Lily, he is wearing worn down clothes, has healing bruises and looks malnourished.
I look around and see that they are all looking in shock. And as I have said before, training will be fun for

After we have finished our lunch, we pick up our plates and walk into the kitchen to put them in the sink. I do not think I have ever seen anyone looking so dumbfounded as these Omega’s.
Even Lily looks at us in surprise. I look at the Omega’s and sigh. This is going to be a long and very annoying stay. Before I walk out of the kitchen, I turn my attention to the Omega’s and tell them that this is normal behavior for us.
That we do not mistreat others, just because of their rank. And it is almost as if they are relieved to find out that there are actually people that do not think less of them. Then I turn and leave the kitchen.

Dagmar does not waste time on the dining–room, she just walks into the kitchen and asks if there is another area we can sit down in for lunch. Lily tells her we can sit on the porch if we want, and I know Dagmar will take her up on that suggestion.
We laugh at Jenna’s statement that she is going to kick their asses. So, I point out to her that not everyone can be as sophisticated as her, which causes the rest to laugh again.
I know they will come down hard on them during training, because there is no doubt in my mind that the Alpha’s will ask us to train their warriors. And I almost feel sorry for the Pack’s, almost.
The way the Omega’s react to us, has me fuming. Why is it so difficult to treat another person with dignity and respect? Especially when they are the ones that keep you fed and keep your home clean. In our Pack we take care of our Omega’s, we consider them as important as our warriors.
Dagmar
As I walk into the living–room, Alpha Adam points to a door behind him and gestures Maddox to follow him in there. Just before the rest of us reach the door, Alpha Nathan closes it in front of us.
We look at each other and we all get a huge smile on our faces. Now I am going to have some fun and the others know that Alpha Nathan just signed his own death–warrant.
I open the door and walk into the room. A man gets up from his seat and turns to face me. By the looks of him, I am guessing that he is a few years younger than me. And he is about the same height.
