Jared sped to Warriors Alliance with Evangeline. Right as he was a distance away from Warriors Alliance, he froze.

It was because he sensed Josephine, and her aura felt intense. “How can this be? Could it be that they’ve released Josephine?”

A look of shock crossed Jared’s face, and he quickened his pace. When he arrived at the entrance of Warriors Alliance, one of the members went to report it to Skylar.

“President Norton, Jared has arrived,” said the member. Skylar’s confidence was palpable as he uttered, “Good, he has finally come. Let him in.”

“Are you sure you can take Jared down?” the spirit asked Skylar again.

“Be at ease. I’m ninety percent sure of this. As long as Jared is ready to give up everything to save his girlfriend, he won’t be able to escape this,” Skylar said with a sneer.

He had already set up a trap for Jared. All he needed to do now was infuriate Jared and make him lose his rationality.

The doors to Warriors Alliance slowly opened, and Jared entered with Evangeline. The Black Copper Robe warriors instantly surrounded the two of them.

When Skylar realized that Jared had brought someone else with him, he frowned. “Jared, you’ve broken our promise. Aren’t you afraid that we’ll make your girlfriend suffer?”

Jared glanced at Evangeline and replied, “She’s just a corpse right now, so she can’t do anything but follow me around. I can’t make her leave anyway.”
