A Mate for the Latecomer novel Chapter 37

Read A Mate for the Latecomer Chapter 37: Truth - the best manga of 2020

Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is A Mate for the Latecomer. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 37: Truth. Let's read the author's A Mate for the Latecomer Internet story right here.

The room was dim when I woke up again. I stood up to turn on the lights then I went to the bathroom to wash my face. Eliz whimpers in my head pushing and telling me that she wanted to see her mate but I just ignore her.

We went back only to find Aaron in our bedroom sitting on the edge of my bed. His head hung low with a whisky in his hand. "Aaron" he took a sip "I think it's time for you to know" he drinks again.

I move towards as he abruptly staggers to his feet he stood up and moved to the other side of the bedroom.

"He asked me to save you on that day" I became confused "What do you mean?" He sat down on the nearest chair beside him rubbing his face with his hands before he took another gulp of whiskey. "Eric couldn't choose you because you weren't his pack member and nobody knows you were his Mate at the time," Aaron spoke before he took another swig.

"He begged me through the mind link to save you from the hunters," I felt like crying, Eliz on the other hand whimpered in sadness. "That's why I came back for you, and contacted Jay to help you out. Nobody knew as it was just between us Alphas. When your life was threatened by the hunters, he even proposed for you to be under my protection." Aaron paused and clutched at his heart, he looks as if he was about to cry. Everything now became clear for me, why they still insisted for me to be at Aaron's pack even when I am not really needed in tracking down Jea. All my suspicious back then was now confirmed that the real reason of keeping me involved in everything.

"I for one objected to his idea, that's why I tried my best not to be close and forbid you from going anywhere in my pack. When he heard about the isolation part he hated me for it. I thought it wasn't my responsibility to look after you," Aaron threw the whisky against the wall shattering it in to pieces.

"So...you never cared for me," I felt myself in the brink of tears. Aaron got up and walked towards me which I took a step back, only for him to pull me in to his arms.

"I do care, actually I think I'm falling for you but I wanted you to know the truth that Eric loves you too. He didn't neglect his duties as your mate," when he said that I cried.

"Shhh you need to talk to him, he doesn't have much time" I sobbed loudly. I couldn't believe all this time Eric was never the bad guy here. He loves me in his own way and I could feel Eliz drowning from loving and aching for our mate.
