First, Demi grabbed Connor. Then, she went to get Thomas. When she grabbed the latter, she chanted in her mind, "Great Almighty, I'm willing to save Thomas and clear my debt toward Stephen and Michelle."

Then, she made her way to the shore with one man in each hand. She was going through the terrifying waves like she had used a sharp knife to cut them.

Meanwhile, a member of the rescue team on the speedboat frowned and said, "Why don't we get into the water?"

"Are you kidding me? Once we get into the water, a single wave will separate us all. When that happens, we won't even be able to save ourselves!"

"Then, what should we do? We can't just stand here and watch, can we?"

"Even so, we can't do much if we get into the water now. I'm sure the bigger rescue boat will be here soon, right?"

The four members of the rescue team continued arguing while frowning.

Suddenly, the staff with the binoculars said excitedly, "I think someone has saved Mr. Bayer and Mr. Pitt! They're heading to shore now!"

"Really?" Everyone was surprised to hear that. Then, someone snatched the binoculars away to take a look personally.

However, a huge wave suddenly hit, and the crew on the boat instantly cried out in shock. Their boat was moving among the waves like a helpless leaf, and it felt like it could capsize at any moment.
