After Demi saved Connor and Thomas, Ana had been keeping her eyes on Demi. Seeing how Demi was shining among the crowd, Ana gritted her teeth hard in hatred. To Ana, Demi should be a village bumpkin taking care of their house and being an assistant.

Ana thought a person like Demi shouldn't only just be a side character in Ana's life. In fact, Demi should be the villain that Ana could trample! However, Ana didn't even realize when Demi became the dazzling main character.

When she saw how Thomas kept looking at Demi, Ana wondered if he was regretting pushing Demi away. With that thought in mind, Ana wondered if everyone else in the family would start regretting it too after realizing how great Demi was.

Ana clenched her fists so tightly that her nails were digging deep into her palms. There was no way she would allow that to happen! She would never give her place up as the daughter of the great Pitt family! If she lost that, she would become part of the lower class again and never make it back out!

When Ana noticed Demi was leaving, she suddenly had an idea. She wanted everyone to see how cruel Demi was so that they would know Demi wasn't as kind as they thought. So, Ana started shouting.

Demi slowly turned around and coldly glanced at Ana with a mocking gaze. She knew Ana was putting on an act and figured Ana wanted people to see how cold she was for not treating Thomas.

As expected of a great actress! However, her acting skills still weren't enough to fool someone who had lived for 300 years.

Demi turned around and left without looking back at all, looking incredibly cold. Seeing that, Thomas felt as if a knife had stabbed his heart, and the pain was spreading across his body. He didn't understand why she would be so heartless. Was it all because they accidentally left her in the car?

Thomas's expression shifted slightly as he thought about the accident. He wondered if she felt heartbroken as well when she watched them leave her without turning back.

With that thought in mind, he couldn't help but lower his gaze and cover his head under the blanket. At that moment, he felt ashamed.

He really didn't mean to do that at all. Back then, he just wanted to run away with Ana and Michelle.

He wondered when Demi was going to stop hating them and thought they could just slowly compensate her in the future. After all, they were all family, and he didn't understand how she could be so cold toward him.

"What grudges does Demi have against Thomas and Ana? She cured everyone except him."

"I want Thomas and Ana to tell us everything that has happened. They kept glazing over the subject and still wanted to take advantage of Demi!"

"I think Ana is hiding more than Thomas! He almost told us what had happened previously, but Ana would look at him nervously and tug his shirt."

"Regardless, Demi really looks like a good person throughout the episodes. She never put on an act or played any dirty tricks. As for someone from a wealthy family, she would always do something suspicious."

"You're all Connor's fans, right? You're speaking up for Demi now just because she saved your dear Connor, and it's fine if you want to do that. However, there's no point in tarnishing Ana's name!"

"You guys never thanked Demi for saving your dear Connor as well! Honestly, without her, Connor would've died already! Like your idol, you don't even know how to thank someone! Have you expressed your gratitude to her already?"

"So what if we Connexions know how to be grateful toward Demi and praise her a little?"
