"Mr. West has the pills I prescribed," Demi reminded casually.

"Benedict? Which one? Our whole family is a West!" Benson barked, clearly losing his temper.

Demi simply lowered her gaze to her tea.

"Who has the pills? Hurry up and bring them out!" Wilson shouted at his two younger brothers, mistakenly thinking she was referring to them.

"It's Sean. Get him in here, now!" Carson instructed.

At that, Benson spun around and rushed outside, quickly pulling Sean back inside. When Sean saw the commotion, he snapped to attention. The six siblings crowded around, urging him anxiously to fetch the pills.

Finally, Sean fumbled out the bottle and took the pills out for Benedict. Within about 30 seconds, Benedict's condition stabilized, and his pallor visibly improved. The siblings let out a collective sigh of relief as they noticed his back was drenched in cold sweat. Their eyes then shifted toward Demi with a mix of relief and perplexity.

"Everyone, please step aside—I need to have a word with Mr. West Senior," Demi said softly as she set her teacup down.

Before anyone could object, Carson quickly ushered the rest out, calming the rising tension.

Demi moved over to Benedict and gently rested her hand on his wrist. "Mr. West Senior, I only meant to give them a little scare. I hope you won't hold it against me. Honestly, even without the pills, you'd be fine."

Benedict chuckled warmly. "I wasn't scared at all, knowing you were here. You always manage to pull me through, even when I nearly pass out. With you around, I've got nothing to worry about."

"Let's go," Benedict said, leaning on his ornate cane as he led the way.

"Dad, after today, we're even more convinced that that young lady is unreliable. In a crisis, she just sat there drinking tea like nothing was wrong. What a reckless, headstrong kid!" Wilson grumbled as he supported his father, his brows furrowed in disapproval.

Benedict shot a dismissive glance at Wilson and replied, "I think you're too impulsive in your actions and words. You're not nearly as level-headed as that young lady."

Wilson fell silent. With the kind of status he had these days, only Benedict could dare to say that.

"Dad, we're only worried about you," Millie insisted. "When you're overly anxious, it only makes things worse. That young lady was calm and collected because she wasn't caught up in all that panic."
