"Of course." Maria nodded with a smile. Then, Demi started opening her gift.

Chad saw what was going on and looked confused. Then, he sent Maria a message in the group chat. "Maria, why are you giving Demi her gift now?"

Maria glanced at the message and casually replied, "I know what you're worrying about! Don't worry. Everyone knows how close we are, so no one will dare to have any problems with it!"

Since Lindton was a small town, everyone wasn't that wealthy. So, if there were any trash, they would sell it themselves and not throw it away. There were many people picking up trash for a living in the town, like Margaret, as well!

While she was doing that, George approached her and placed another beautiful gift box in front of her. "Happy birthday, Demi. Let's do our best together in the future!"

Demi looked at him and asked, "How did you know it's my birthday today?"

"A little birdie told me." After saying that, George winked at her and left chicly.
