When Demi arrived home, Margaret saw the pink suitcase in her hand.

"Why did you buy a suitcase?" Margaret asked in confusion. After all, they had already gotten one when they were shopping previously.

So, Demi happily explained how other people had celebrated her birthday with her and given her a lot of gifts. "I wasn't planning on celebrating it today, but they prepared a party for me in secret. I was wondering if I should bring you and Timmy there as well, but I was worried you might feel awkward. So, I figured…"

"Demi, is it your actual birthday today? Why didn't you tell me earlier? I could've prepared something for you. Why don't I make you something delicious now?" Margaret interrupted Demi anxiously.

"It's alright, Grandma. I was about to tell you that we can celebrate it together at the end of the year. I'll be looking forward to my delicious feast!" Demi said with a smile.

"Since we know when your actual birthday is now, we should just celebrate it on the actual day. After all, no one has two birthdays!" Margaret smiled as well.

"No way. The day you brought me home was the day of my rebirth, so that counts as my birthday too. Besides, I'm used to celebrating my birthday on that day anyway," Demi said coyly as she wrapped her arms around Margaret.

"Alright. Let's do that then. Now that we have the money, I can finally afford a birthday cake for you." When Margaret smiled, layers of wrinkles formed on her face. Each layer represented how happy she felt. "But, I'll still cook something nice for you later."

"Sure!" Demi said with a nod. After all, who wouldn't want to feel bliss two times?

Just as Margaret was about to ask Demi something else, Demi's phone started ringing. When Demi pulled it out to take a look, she saw that it was Benedict calling. She hurriedly answered it because she was worried that he might be feeling unwell again.

"Demi, if you're free, please come over here to take a look at my body. My children and Seamus have already taken a look at me, and they all said I'm fine. They just don't believe that nothing's wrong with me. So, you have to do it once more," Benedict said helplessly.

"Alright. I'll be right there," said Demi.

She said goodbye to Margaret and then left the house again.

Upon arriving at Benedict's house, Carson opened the door for her.

"I'm sorry for the trouble, Dr. Moone," he said politely.

"Don't worry about it. I'm just carrying out my duty," Demi said calmly.

"Oh, Demi. You're here!"

Benedict was sitting on the couch. When he saw Demi entering the house, he hurriedly stood up with the help of his cane. Seamus and Millie stood up as well.

"Mr. West Senior, Dr. Finnegan, there's no need to get up." Demi hurriedly approached them and helped them back to their seats.

Meanwhile, Carson and Millie were stunned to see how respectful Benedict was toward Demi. After all, with his identity, there weren't a lot of people who could make him stand up to greet them. The same went for Seamus as well.

Demi habitually read Benedict's pulse as she asked, "Have you been feeling unwell recently?"

"No. I'm enjoying my life right now, and I have the strength to do whatever I want," Benedict said confidently. "They're just making a fuss over nothing."

Demi nodded and said, "I understand."

Benedict's face fell instantly when he heard the conversation. He had been too busy with work when he was younger. Now that he was older, he really wanted to see what kind of scenery his country had to offer.

He wouldn't think about going overseas at all, but he still wanted to check out all the nice local places. That way, he wouldn't have any regrets.

Shortly after that, Demi said, "Let me think of something."

Hearing that, Benedict's eyes lit up again.

"What can you possibly do to make my dad's heart condition improve immediately?" Millie frowned.

Carson wanted to say something as well. However, since Demi was a young lady, it wouldn't be nice for a man like him to scold her.

As Demi pondered on the subject for a moment, Benedict warned Millie again, "Stop disturbing Demi while she's thinking."

Millie was speechless when she heard that.

After a moment, Demi pulled out an emerald ring and passed it to Benedict.

"What's this?" he asked as he took it in confusion.
