"Are we that close?" Demi looked speechlessly at Thomas.

Thomas, in return, was at a loss for words. Even Caitlin, whom Demi had just met for the first time, got a song, but not him?

Fine. He wasn't in a rush anyway. Once the Pitts have officially acknowledged her, wouldn't all her songs be his for the picking as her brother?

At that moment, Tyler grinned and spoke up. "Demi, can I get a song too?"

Demi was puzzled. "You're an actor. What do you need a song for?" she asked.

"I remember you're tone-deaf. You always sing off-key," Sam interjected.

"I… That's because I'm going through a voice change! Once it's over, I won't be off-key anymore," Tyler defended himself with a quick tilt of his chin.

"If you really want to sing, I guess I can give you a song," Demi said.

"Thanks, Demi!" Tyler quickly clasped his hands together in gratitude.

"Come on. Let's continue," Nigel called out.

Finally, it was Nigel's turn to pick. He grinned happily, and like everyone else, he pointed the spoon at Demi first. Then, he carefully spun it.

The handle turned slowly and then pointed right back at Demi once more.

"Demi, can you dance? Show us a dance!" Nigel said with a playful smile.

That was right. Nigel was indeed pre-casting actors in advance.

Demi paused momentarily before asking, "Does a sword dance count?"

"It does!" The group nodded eagerly.

Thus, Demi stood up, casually grabbed a tree branch meant for firewood, and started dancing inside the tent. Her movements weren't exactly a dance, but rather an actual swordsmanship routine.

As the branch whistled through the air, Demi moved swiftly and gracefully, but her every movement was filled with power and speed. There wasn't a hint of hesitation or sluggishness in them.

Everyone watched her, dumbstruck.

Even though Demi said she was trained in martial arts, no one had truly grasped what that meant. Now, watching this sword dance, they finally understood that Demi was truly well-versed in martial arts.

The performance lasted only two minutes, and when Demi put away the branch, the group still seemed lost in a trance. It wasn't until she sat back down that they snapped out of it, erupting into even more enthusiastic applause than before.

"Holy crap, isn't Demi way too incredible?"

"So, she really is skilled in martial arts!"

"I was completely mesmerized watching her!"

"No wonder she could carry two logs by herself!"

"I used to think that Demi was the weakest in the show and just riding on others' popularity. I never thought that she was the hidden powerhouse!"

"Don't worry about the how—if there's a will, there's a way," Matt said.

Then, he turned back to Demi. "Next time, I'll write a full-on martial arts script and have you as the lead."

"Okay. Thank you, Mr. Hahn. Actually, the fantasy genre works too," Demi said with a chuckle.

"That's great! Just wait for me," Matt said excitedly.

"Demi, when the real sword arrives tomorrow, can you perform again outside? We haven't seen enough," Nigel remarked.

"No problem." Demi nodded.

Ana stayed silent throughout the exchange. She felt like Demi had deceived them. She had all these skills, yet she had never mentioned them to the family.

Why? Who was she guarding against? Against Ana?

That had to be it!

Alex and Thomas had similar thoughts, though their emotions were even more complicated than Ana's.

Why hadn't Demi told them about all this? Did she not trust them?

Truth be told, having a sister like her made them feel proud.

Perhaps it was time to acknowledge Demi sooner. Tonight, they would tell her about the plan to have her and Ana become "twin sisters".
