Demi and the host sat at the very center of the long table, with a sea of reporters seated below them.

The host smiled as he said, "Our press conference today is mainly about two things. First, Ms. Demi will respond to a rumor about her that has been wildly circulating online these past two days. As for the second thing, I'm keeping it a secret for now, but I promise it'll be a surprise."

After speaking, he pushed the microphone toward Demi.

The reporters immediately scrambled to fire off questions.

"Demi, is it true that you're the long-lost precious lady of Pitt Group?"

"Why did you say you have a grudge against the Pitts? Can you explain in detail?"

"Demi, you said before that the Pitts once left you in a burning car. What exactly happened?"

"If you're really related to the Pitts, why did you end up as enemies?"

The host took back the microphone and motioned for silence. "Alright, everyone, calm down. Let Ms. Demi speak."

Only then did the crowd begin to quiet down.

Then, the host placed the microphone back in front of Demi.

Meanwhile, outside the venue, Michelle was the first to break down as she screamed at the guards, "We'll delete the Twitter posts! Tell Demi to stop the press conference!"

Upon hearing this, the guards contacted their superior again, who was none other than Felix.

"Tell them to delete it first," Felix ordered coldly.

"Our superior says you have to delete it first," the guard relayed Felix's words.

Michelle quickly turned to Stephen. "Honey…"

Stephen frowned so deeply it seemed you could crack a walnut between them. If he deleted the Twitter post, he would be admitting he lied—which would cause severe impacts to both him and the company in the future!

But if he didn't delete it, and Demi revealed the truth, it would still be a huge blow to both his family and the company!

That daughter of his really was ruthless—she was putting her own father through the wringer.

Stephen looked at Ana, who was pale and on the verge of fainting, and he ultimately chose to delete the Twitter post.

As he spoke, Maria and the others walked on stage one by one and took their seats on either side of Demi and the host.

The reporters were completely stunned. They had come to cover a scandal, but instead, they ended up seeing a stage full of A-listers?
