Sophie immediately spoke up and forced a smile. "There's no need for that. I would like to share the good news with him myself. I hope you can keep this a secret for me."

“Of course. We respect patient confidentiality and won't disclose anything without your permission. Ms. Scott, your body is fine otherwise, but you're very weak.

"Try not to overwork yourself and make sure to get enough nutrition. I'll prescribe some vitamins for you to take home."

After the doctor left, Sophie immediately looked at the test report in her hands. Her face was pale.

How could she be pregnant? She had taken precautions!

The thought of Clyde's ugly and disgusting face made her nauseous. She then rushed to the bathroom and retched violently.
