William smiled merrily and nodded, "Needless to say, you have our blessing. You're a handsome and excellent man, Benson. My wife and I are very pleased with you. We can be at ease if Sierra marries you."

"I appreciate it, Mr. Shaw," Benson responded.

Then, he turned his head sideways and looked at Sierra. He took a step back and pulled out the ring he had prepared early on. He went down on one of his knees and gazed at her affectionately, "Will you marry me, Cee?"

Sierra lowered her gaze and looked at the ring he held up high. A huge diamond sparkled underneath the light.

Then, she rested her gaze on the tie he wore, and her eyes fluttered. She designed it personally and had someone make it for him. It was a birthday present she got for him.

However, Benson didn't like it. After he got it, he casually tossed it aside and never wore it once. Today, he wore it, though. He had a gentle and eager look on his face.

A hint of regret and sadness flashed in Sierra's eyes.

It was all too late.

Benson might have genuinely meant to marry her right now, but he had hurt her one too many times. It was something she could never move on from.

William noticed that Sierra wasn't doing anything, and he grew anxious. When he saw the displeased expression on Janet, who was sitting across the table, he was worried that she might get upset.

He said, "Sierra must've been overwhelmed with such joy that she couldn't find her voice."

Then, he turned to Sierra and said, "Hurry up and say yes to Benson, so the poor guy can get up from the floor."

William was urging Sierra to agree to Benson's proposal.
