"If Benson still considered himself part of this family and cared about his reputation, he wouldn't have done something so disgraceful," Theo spoke indifferently, and his gaze was devoid of warmth.

Janet clenched her fists, let out a cold laugh, and mocked, "Theo, don't act so high and mighty. You say you're disciplining Benson, but in reality, you're just taking it out on him for Sierra's sake. That little seductress has even managed to ensnare you!"

"Enough." Liam cut her off in a low voice. "Stop spouting nonsense."

"How am I spouting nonsense? Theo is clearly targeting Benson out of personal bias!"

Janet stared at Theo with fury. She had known all along that his feelings for Sierra were anything but ordinary.

"Janet, you keep insulting Sierra, but do you even realize she's still in the hospital? Thanks to Benson, her shoulder was dislocated. Do you have any idea how painful that is? Would you like to experience it for yourself?"

His gaze turned dangerously cold, and his usually clear voice was laced with barely contained anger.

Janet's face paled, her eyes shifting uneasily. After a few seconds, she muttered, "Benson couldn't have done it on purpose."

"Hah! Of course, in your eyes, your son can do no wrong. But Sierra's someone else's beloved daughter, too. Does she deserve to be bullied? Does she deserve to be hurt?"

Theo's eyes darkened with fury as he questioned her in an icy voice.

She flushed red, but she had no retort.

For years, she had only seen Theo as someone who was always composed and never easily angered. Yet now, his expression was utterly cold, his features taut, his eyes like frost-covered steel.

"Theo, what Benson did was wrong. Sierra suffered because of it."

Liam let out a low sigh.
