He pushed Candy away. Then, his cell phone rang. He picked it up and saw that it was Michael. 

“Hello?” 

“Are you guys okay? If you are, bring the fishing net over from the car.” 

Wesley thought, “Fishing net? What the hell is he talking about?” 

Before Wesley could say anything, Candy was dissatisfied because he pushed her away and bit his arm. 

“I know… Ouch! It hurts!” 

Michael heard the voice on the other end of the phone and tactfully hung up the phone. 

Chloe and James both looked at him. “Is Candy okay?” 

“Can they bring the fishing net over here?”

Michael put the phone in his pocket, his face serious and formal. “Yes, they’ll be right here.” 

Chloe looked at his red ears and felt something strange. She then remembered the things in the bag. She seemed to realize something suddenly. 

Michael looked at her, took out a bottle of insect–repellent spray from that bag, and gave it to her. “Spray it on your body. There are a lot of mosquitoes here.” 

Chloe took the insect–repellent spray and wondered how he had successfully found it from among the pile of messy things. 

“Your friend likes this. How about you?” 

“What?” 

Chloe looked at him in horror as if she had heard something horrible. Before today, she had no idea that Candy liked this. 

Michael glanced at the bag and said, “If you like, I can try it with you later.” 

Chloe was utterly stunned. 

She looked at Michael in surprise, wondering if he was sick. 

Chloe thought, “He actually wants to try those things with me?” 

“No way!”

When Wesley came back with the fishing net, everyone felt that the sunshine was too strong and planned to go back.
