Chapter 700 Chloe’s Nephew 

Earlier in the car, Christopher had shared the backup door code with three people, just in case. 

As the woman was about to lunge at Christopher, the door swung open, and the first person to rush in was Michael. 

He ran straight to Chloe, pulling her into his arms, while the police behind him quickly surrounded the woman. 

“Chloe, are you okay?” he asked, concerned. 

Chloe shook her head, a little confused as she looked at the police.

The shock had been so overwhelming that Chloe had actually forgotten. 

Michael had realized something was 

wrong when he saw the dead rabbit outside, so he immediately called the police. 

When that person crawled out of the sofa, Michael was already freaked out. As soon as the police arrived, he rushed to find Chloe. 

The police restrained the woman, holding her hands down, but she kept staring at Christopher. “Why are you having me arrested, Christopher? Haven’t I been good to you? I’m the best person you’ll

Michael covered Chloe’s ears, trying to block out the woman’s unsettling

It wasn’t until the police took the woman away that Christopher finally collapsed, wanting to sit on the sofa but too afraid there might be someone else inside it. 

He was pretty sure he was going to have PTSD from this. 

There was no way he could stay in that house anymore, so he booked a hotel 

room before they all headed to the police station.

The police had already gotten most of the story. The woman was mentally unstable, but she truly liked Christopher. She just wanted to be his “fairy maid“, quietly looking after him. 

She never meant any harm. She just wanted to be close to him.

Michael protected her, trying to get her away from the media circus. 

Thankfully, the paparazzi were focused on Christopher, not them, so they didn’t linger on Chloe and Michael for long. 

In the car, Michael was about to take her back to the villa, but she said, “Wait for Christopher.”
