Chloe nodded. “Gideon has been in the industry for years and is a great actor. Surely, he has some dirt on him, right?” 

In the entertainment industry, very few people were squeaky clean. 

She regretted ever thinking of Gideon as a talented veteran. 

The older someone was in this business, the more likely they were to be tainted by greed. 

Amanda thought for a moment. “I think there was some tabloid evidence of his misdeeds, but it was buried.” 

“Who buried it?” 

“A wealthy businessman from the domestic scene.” 

“Do we know him?” 

Chloe was accustomed to the dynamics between the business and entertainment worlds. 

Now that she was part of the business circle, she might just know the guy. 

“I can help you get in touch with him; he’s in town for business. I’ll see if I can get him to attend your party tomorrow.”

Michael and James came down from the second floor and sat beside Chloe. “Chloe, how do you want to deal with William’s brother?” 

This was the second time Michael had asked her this question. 

“I want him to rot in prison for life, never to be released.” 

Chloe wasn’t someone who looked down on the law or would take someone’s life lightly. 

Recently, she realized that if that man truly wanted to infect her with HIV, he wouldn’t just resort to such petty means. 

Perhaps he was just trying to get away with something. 

Regardless, he had attacked her three times, and whether or not she was infected, he needed to pay for his actions. 

Killing him would be too easy. 

She wanted him to suffer in prison, living a life worse than death. 

The prisons here were nothing like those back home.
