Erik rushed towards the road, where cars filled the lanes. Despite the danger, he couldn’t afford to stop. 

However, before he could cross the road, a car accelerated towards him. 

Startled, Erik instinctively dodged, fell to the ground, and quickly got back up.

Turning around, Erik saw the driver, wearing sunglasses, approaching with a gun in hand. 

Gasping for air, Erik desperately tried to rise but fell again, his legs unable to support him. 

“Who are you? I don’t know you at all. Why do you want to kill me?” he shouted. 

The man with sunglasses stared coldly at Erik, pointing the gun at his head. At that moment, everyone around them had scattered due to the sound of the gunshot. 

James and Michael finally crossed the road and rushed towards them.
