"Mrs. Allen, your custom wedding dress has arrived. Can you come for a fitting this Saturday?"
"Mrs. Allen?"
The voice on the phone snapped me out of my shock.
Looking at the message in Nico Allen's WhatsApp, I fought back the overwhelming feeling of weakness and managed to tell the staff member on the other end:
"Not now, thank you."
Then I hung up.
"Had a great time last night, already missing you."
