“I did some research and compared the materials. This new GFRT material is the best option. It offers. excellent airtight sealing and versatility that fit our specific needs.” 

In just one night, Jack had sketched out the lab’s plan and refined the details. To accomplish this, he must have a thorough understanding of the construction standards for labs. 

Miranda blinked in surprise. “Did you pull an all–nighter for this?” 

He cleared his throat. “You could say that. I did some last–minute studying and consulted some professionals in the field.” 

But that wasn’t what truly surprised her. 

What astonished her was when Jack said, “I did some research. Bio labs like yours need to be categorized by the hazard levels of the microorganisms and pathogens they work with. 

“According to current national guidelines, there are four biosafety levels–P1, P2, P3, and P4… Mimi, I have this wild idea.” 

“What is it?” she asked. 

“These four biosafety levels correspond to four different safety protocols. Since this is a smart lab, is it possible to set up four or even more lab configurations based on those standards? 

With that, one lab could function like multiple labs. Fully automated control would allow for transitions without any manpower costs. 

Miranda’s eyes lit up. “Is that possible?” 

“It can be done.” 

“What’s the likelihood?” 

“About 80%.” 

What about the budget?” Miranda pressed. 

Jack paused for a moment. “The initial estimate is over ten million.” 

She was speechless. People often overlooked what was valuable, but money recognized its worth. 

“By the way, I’ve taken care of the groundwork,” he added. “You can leave that to us and don’t have to worry about it.”
