Sawyer scratched his head and chuckled awkwardly. “I’d like to, but…!! 

Though Miranda didn’t dislike him, she also didn’t show any clear affection toward him.

The efficiency of the VIP pharmacy was indeed impressive. The staff quickly prepared the medication and divided them into smaller sealed bags. To drink the medication, Fiona would only need to heat it up with hot water after taking it out from the fridge. 

An hour later, Miranda and Sawyer left the pharmacy. As they stepped out, Miranda received a call from Fiona. 

“Hello, Grandma? Yes, the medicine is ready. I had it decocted at the VIP pharmacy. Alright, just wait there for a moment. I’ll come to get you now.” 

After ending the call, she put her phone away and turned to Sawyer. “Thanks for your help today. I’ll go pick up my grandmother now. Goodbye.” 

“Oh, alright! Goodbye!” 

Sawyer watched as Miranda’s figure disappeared into the distance before reluctantly averting his gaze. At that moment, his phone rang. 

Sawyer picked it up, “Hello?” 

“You brat! You dropped off the lunch box and disappeared. Where did you run off too? You didn’t even stick around to chat. What could possibly be more important than your grandfather?” Clement chided. 

Sawyer could only laugh awkwardly. 

Clement felt puzzled. Had this kid lost his mind? 

As Miranda drove Fiona out of the hospital gates Paul had just collected the medication and was sitting on a bench outside the outpatient clinic. He was waiting for Silas, who was still in 

the restroom. 

About ten minutes later, Silas emerged, walking unsteadily. “Paul, give me a hand…” 

Getting up, Paul went over and grabbed his arm. He slung it over his shoulder and said with a frown, “Why are you so weak?” 

“Try running to the toilet over ten times and see how you 

feel!”

Paul was at a loss for words. 

“Wait, you’re already weak even without getting diarrhea. Didn’t you hear the doctor just now? He said your complexion looked terrible,” Silas joked. 

Paul made a gesture to throw off his arm. 

“Don’t do that… I’m just kidding! Where is your sense of humor?” Silas pleaded. 

Paul helped him to the bench and sat him down before handing over the prepared medication. “Take this first. I don’t want you getting dehydrated.” 

Silas obediently took the medication. He seemed to feel a little better after that, though it could have been purely a placebo effect. 

Whatever! As long as he didn’t have to rush to the restroom again! 

Adjusting to a more comfortable position, Silas remarked casually, “Paul, your eyes were bloodshot when I saw you watching Miranda leaving with that guy. Care to explain what’s going on between you two?” 

Paul fell silent. 

Just as Silas was about to give up on getting an answer, he finally spoke. “I once hinted and asked if she’d consider a new relationship.”
