Chapter 198 Entering the Bathroom with Xander 

teabed paused for a moment, waiting for the tingling scation at the ark of her neck to bare beterde turned her head. 

As she did, her lips brushed lightly against the marts wit ones. 

A sudden spark can through her, and she quickly pulled away, her heart racing 

Thankfully, Xander was intoxicated; if not, he surely would have seized the moment and accused her of intentionally kissing him. 

Xander lazily opened his eyes, watching as the tips of label’s cars, once pale, turned a bright shade of red. like shrimp pulled from boiling water. A sly grin spread across his face before he pursed his lips, seroting, the kiss she had initiated, 

It had been a while since he’d experienced a kiss like that–her taking the lead. The taste lingered, as satisfying as ever. 

As they approached the stairs, Xander took advantage of the moment again. The gentle swaying of the staircase allowed him to plant soft, fleeting kisses along Isabel’s neck. 

Isabel froze, blinking in confusion. Something felt off. 

“Xander?” she asked, her voice uncertain. He didn’t answer, keeping his eyes closed and his chin resting against her neck, unmoving, 

Am I overthinking this? Could it be a coincidence? 

Isabel hesitated, then, with a playful look in her eye, she reached up and pinched the firm muscles of his slim waist. 

It’s so firm! 

His muscles were so toned that she couldn’t even leave an impression. 

“Isk,” she clicked her tongue. 

Not bad. That waistline is impressive. 

She pushed open the door and carefully lowered Xander onto the bed, relieved that she finally managed to get him settled. Time to get some rest. 

Just as Isabel turned to leave, she noticed Xander trying to stand up again. 

What on earth is he doing? 

Before she could figure it out, he stumbled toward the bathroom, each step more unsteady than the last. Seeing him wobble, Isabel quickly rushed to catch him 

“Why did you drink so much?” she muttered in frustration. Couldn’t you save some for me? I can’t drink now, but I will some day.

“Are you going to throw up?” she asked, raising an eyebrow. 

“I wanna 

pee,” Xander slurred, deliberately sounding more intoxicated than he really was. 

Isabel glanced down at him with a raised brow. “Can you manage?” 

“Yeah… sure,” Xander muttered, struggling to steady himself against the wall but failing to stand. 

Isabel rolled her eyes, her lips twitching in annoyance.

It was always the same with drunks–no matter how much they drank, they always insisted they were fine. 

“I’ll help you inside.” She sighed, reluctantly offering. 

What else could she do? Call Reggie? But Reggie was in no condition to assist either. 

She couldn’t just leave Xander alone. She couldn’t let him hold it in, could she? 

So she guided him to the bathroom. As long as she didn’t look, everything would be fine. 

Once inside, Isabel hoped it would be over, but when she saw Xander standing there waiting for her, she nearly cursed under her breath. 

“Just… hurry up. I’m not helping you with that,” she snapped. 

Xander stood still, his face flushed with exertion, his hand weakly reaching for something to hold onto. 

Finally, his hand found hers. 

“Help me,” he murmured, his voice low and unexpectedly alluring. 

Isabel’s heart skipped a beat, her pulse quickening at his words. 

Before she realized it, she found herself giving in, helping him do the thing she hadn’t planned on. 

When it was over, Isabel felt as though her hand no longer belonged to her. 

Xander, satisfied, leaned against Isabel as they walked back to the bed. He suddenly yanked her down beside him, pulling her into his arms, trapping her as if she couldn’t escape. 

Isabel had grown used to his firm grip, but she didn’t mind. 

She sighed in resignation and decided against fighting this. She then settled comfortably in his arms, closing her eyes to sleep. 

Just as she was about to drift off, Xander’s hand shifted, moving from her waist to rest on her lower abdomen. 

His large palm covered almost her whole waist. 

Isabel tensed, her body instantly alert. This was the most sensitive area of her body–the place where life was nurtured. And right now, she carried three tiny lives inside her, her stomach fully covered by his large hand.

Max was about to become a father of not one but three while Xander had nothing to show for himself in that regard. 

His fingers twitched on Isabel’s stomach, wondering if this spot would one day carry the same curve Yvette had.

A few days ago, they had made love for two hours when Isabel was drunk. He felt that it wasn’t long, and he might not be as “lucky” as Max, getting Yvette pregnant after one encounter.
