Colin froze, his eyes wide with disbelief. "I-it's you!"

Lillian was equally stunned, stumbling over her words. "W-what's going on?"

Both of them stared at Reggie, sitting calmly in the chair before them, unable to comprehend what they were seeing.

Isabel, with a hint of mockery in her tone, broke the silence. "Surprising, right? I bet you didn't expect this."

Colin's gaze quickly shifted to Isabel, who was casually seated, her legs crossed, wearing a faint smile. The sight nearly left him breathless.

"I knew it!" Lillian suddenly exclaimed. "You two planned all of this! You staged this whole thing! How could Reggie be the owner of I.Z. Corporation? Everyone knows the owner is tied to Miracle Healer, and it can't be Reggie. Besides, you've been thrown out of the house—where did you get the money to start a business?"

Lillian's words snapped Colin back to reality.

"Yeah, that's right! How could you be the owner of I.Z. Corporation? You—" Colin's rant was interrupted by a knock on the door.

Reggie turned toward the door and said, "Come in."

Lincoln, I.Z. Corporation's top assistant, walked into the office.

As soon as Colin and Lillian saw him, they recognized him instantly.

Lincoln had previously been the top assistant to the former CEO of D'Meria Group. For reasons unknown, he ended up at I.Z. Corporation, which caused quite a stir at the time.

Colin and Lillian watched, amazed by what was unfolding before them.

Once Reggie had finished reading the documents, he signed them and handed them back to Lincoln. Lincoln took the papers and turned to leave.

"Wait!" Colin suddenly called out. "Mr. Meyer, please wait!"

Confused, Lincoln paused and turned to look at Colin, then glanced at Reggie.

Reggie said nothing, watching the exchange silently.

Lincoln understood the unspoken situation and returned his focus to Colin. "What's the matter?"

"I need to confirm something," Colin said, pointing at Reggie. "Is he truly the owner of I.Z. Corporation?"

Lincoln's expression remained serious as he nodded. "Yes."

Colin's eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you serious?"

Lincoln frowned slightly, growing a bit impatient. "Do you think I'm joking?"

Before he could respond, Isabel's voice cut through again.

"Oh, I get it now! The misunderstanding got cleared up when you found out Reggie is the owner of I.Z. Corporation. You saw how far he's come. Now that he's not just a tool for the Zimmermans, you want to reel him back in. Isn't that right?"

Isabel's eyes twinkled as she looked at Colin with a meaningful smile.

Colin's expression grew even darker as Isabel exposed his true motives. His face alternated between flush and pale, clearly embarrassed by her words.

Isabel wasn't done yet. "Looks like I nailed it. When we're useful to you, we're your children. When we're not, you toss us aside like trash. In the past, you treated us terribly. Are you regretting it now?"

The more Isabel spoke, the angrier Colin got. If it weren't for his desire to control I.Z. Corporation, he would never put up with her mocking him.

Thinking about how I.Z. Corporation was growing in Solaria, Colin held back his frustration and turned to Reggie. "Reg, Isa is still young and doesn't understand. I won't argue with her words. Colin felt he was being fair and assumed that Reggie, his son, would help smooth things over. But he didn't expect Reggie's response.
