“ Hmm, let's see what’s wrong with you,” Levy leaned forward and grasped Lily’s wrist before muttering, “ Elenchos.”

A green ball of light shimmered in the air before shooting right through Lily’s chest and lighting up her body checking every vital organ along with the curse that has been inflicted on her. Because Levy was so focused, she couldn’t hear Logan walking in the room and creeping right behind her back, it wasn’t until he came to a stop behind her, looked at her holding Lily’s wrist and out of nowhere spoke, “ Are you pretending to be a doctor?”

Startled by his voice, Levy jumped up on her chair before turning to look at him, her arm draped on the back of her chair. “ Are you trying to give me a heart attack? What is the meaning of this?”

He raised a brow and took a step back before walking around the bed and halting at the other side before pulling a chair with his feet. “ Well, this is my first time seeing a shifter getting startled. As far as I know, every shifter’s senses are good enough that no one can sneak up on them, it is not my fault that staying in the prison has rotten yours.” Taking a seat on the chair, he leaned back. “ By the way what are you doing? I asked you to break her curse, not play doctor with her.”

Levy poked her cheek with the tip of her tongue as she turned around and looked at the man driving her nuts and said, “ Are you a witch or I am? Do you think breaking a curse is just a matter of seconds? Like did you expect me to just walk into the room and mutter a series of spells and then set her right?”

“ If not?” He said sounding so oblivious that Levy wished she could punch him in the face for once. She saw him check the time on his wristwatch and further give another addition to his stupid sentence. “ I am in a hurry like I have no desire to keep you for dinner, so if you can,” he snapped his fingers and looked at her impatiently. “ Wrap it up in a jiffy then it will be nice, your face,” waving his hand in front of his face, he continued, “ Kind of ruins my appetite so if undo the curse and get lost as fast as you can, if you don’t mind?”

Now, no matter how good of a temper she had, his rude words were enough to make her snap. Kicking back her chair, she stood up and placed her hands on her hips as she stared at him, “ Look here doofus, don’t think that I am wasting my time because I want to spend extra quality time with you,” she quoted the words ‘quality time’. “ I am doing what I am supposed to do and I have no intention of breathing the same air as a motherfucking tyrant who has no understanding whatsoever of how he should collect evidence instead of sending an innocent woman like me to imprisonment you hear that? Staying with you in the same room is like a literal torture and I have no interest in going through it, got it?” She sat down and folded her arms before tipping her chin at him. “ If you have so many problems with me then you can go ahead and get another witch to do it for you, in fact if not for you, I would have already found someone to be with for the rest of my life.”
