“Now tell us everything,” Dad says.

“One of my hunters was approached by a rouge wolf. And he told him his leader wanted to talk with me. So I met him, and I did not like his plans. He wants to make hybrids from those in each supernatural race that have special powers. Blessed wolves, witches with extraordinary magical powers, elves and vampires gifts.” Vladimir says. I feel Madeleine gets uncomfortable with this news.

“Who is this wolf?” Dad asks.

“He calls himself King Maximus, king of the rouges. I heard some wolves say he was an Alpha once, and his size, well he is bigger than others.” Vladimir says, and Dad nods his head.

“Did he ever mention any specific by name that he wanted for this insane project?” Dad asks, and Vladimir looks at Madeleine.

“Hell No, that will be over my dead body,” I growl.

“He had a list, with races and names. But I didn’t get to see it properly.

“I do not want to be rude, but how can he breed a Vampire? Are not technically…” Madeleine asks and blushes.

“Dead? Not all vampires have been bitten to become vampires. Some were born with it.” Vladimir tells her and smiles.

“Oh, I’m so sorry,” Madeleine says, but Vladimir just shakes his head.

“Don’t be my child. It is all just fine.” Vladimir assured her. And then he stands up.

“As you know, vampires are not always the best friends with other races. I try to keep us in peace, but it doesn’t always happen. I know that you, my King, and your Beta went to the Dark Forest Pack. To retrieve documents and books about wolves with powers. So here is my token to prove I want to work with you.” Vladimir says and stands up, and walks over to the boxes.

“More books, and scrolls, mainly about powers between vampires, but same from other faces too. I did not collect these, nor have I read them, but I felt as if you were getting some here. That maybe you had a plan to keep them safe. Seeing it is actually a wolf that is trying to start a war.” Vladimir says and gives Dad a book.

“I appreciate your trust in us to keep these safe, and yes, I do have a safe place for them,” Dad says and, standing up in front of Vladimir and reaching his hand out.
