“Do you think you can act absurdly just because you think I have good self-control? Hmm?” Charles’ eyes were filled with lust and looked as if he was about to swallow her whole.

As his member in her palm continued to grow, Sophia’s face became even hotter and she quickly let go of it.

Worried that he would try something else and she would lose all self-control, she quickly blurted out, “The bodyguards you hired are working for the person trying to frame you.”

Charles’ eyes widened slightly and the lust in his eyes instantly dissipated.

He gently pushed Sophia aside and changed the shower to cold water, turning it on maximum. “What are you talking about?”

Sophia briefly explained everything that had happened in the past few days. “We are now monitored all the time so it wouldn’t be easy for us to investigate this matter, and even if we do find anything, it might just be what the person wants us to find.”

“So you agreed to my grandmother’s conditions to pretend to break up with me, and you’re waiting for them to let their guard down so you can try to uncover their motive?” After bathing in the cold water for a while, Charles felt the heat from his body was finally subsiding.

He looked at Sophia, shivering in the cold, and turned the water back to a comfortable, warm temperature, and pulled her under the shower.

Charles noticed her small actions and he could not help but smile. However, he quickly forced the smile away as he said, “I don’t agree with you.”

“That’s fine, but you have to give me a valid reason,” Sophia replied.

Charles looked at her and lowered his eyes to her stomach. “My grandmother is much more malicious than my grandfather. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to marry into the Harris family when my grandfather doesn’t even like her, and on top of that, get away with deceiving my grandfather and swindling a whole lot of money when she’s just an actress with no influential background.”
