Staring at the bulging figure on bed, Willy was startled inexplicably. He stood frozen for a while before he climbed into his side of the bed and shut his eyes. He had no idea how much time had passed before he finally felt a wave of sleepiness overwhelmed him. In the midst of falling asleep, he vaguely felt something moved beside him again. In a blur and being uncertain whether he was dreaming or awake, he seemed to have seen a figure got up clumsily again.

He saw a large-bellied figure yawned and walked towards the bed. She was familiar with what she was doing but when she reached the side of the bed, she moved obviously gentler and slower, as if afraid of waking him. With every movement she made, her eyes were aware of the movement next to her. Seeing that she was clearly sleepy but still dawdling, he deliberately made a sound clearing his throat. Sure enough, her body froze the moment she heard it.

After what seemed to be forever had passed, only then did she gently adjust her pillow, leaned on it and switched off the bedside lamp.
