As she really wanted to celebrate with him, Lauren put all her heart and soul into preparing a special dinner. Suddenly, she remembered a crepe that she had eaten before. Suddenly inspired, she decided to make just that.

After making the bone broth, she estimated the time she had and cooked two more dishes and arranged them on a plate. Then, she cut up some cucumbers, carrots, cabbage and scallions to make the dressing. She also added the sauce.

She looked at the two rows of small square plates neatly placed on the table. There was meat for protein, and vegetables. Although there were all types of dishes, it all looked very elegant. She put seven of the small plates together and glanced at them, feeling as if there was something lacking.

"Vegetables, meats, beans..." She mumbled to herself.

With a sudden stroke of enlightenment, she shouted, "Oh, right! Eggs!"

She made some egg crepes, shredded them, and put them on a plate. There were eight dishes on the table then. At a glance, they were neatly organized and looked very delicious.

"Perfect..."

Lauren was very pleased with her masterpiece. She divided the sauce into two portions and placed them on both sides. Then, she took out a large, round plate and put it on the side.

She just had to make a few more crepes and a tomato and egg soup, then she was done!

Seeing that it was almost six o'clock, she thought he would be home soon if he didn't have any social engagements. Hurriedly, she mixed the flour batter, fried a dozen crepes, and arranged them on a plate.

Just as she was about to make the soup, she faintly heard the sound of a car. Lauren looked up and smiled. "What a coincidence, just in time!" she exclaimed to herself.

She brought the soup to a boil, then added the eggs to it. Soon, the smell of egg soup wafted out of the kitchen.

Afterwards, Lauren turned off the fire and cleaned up briskly. She washed her hands and prepared to go out to meet the person she had been expecting. Suddenly, the clacking sound of high heels was heard. She suddenly paused.

Was it a woman?

Who could it be, with such rushed footsteps? The footsteps of the servants with the shoes that they wore were either soft or totally inaudible, but that...

Although she hadn't lived there long, and she had no idea what Willy's lifestyle was like in the public, but as far as she knew, he had never brought a woman home other than her!

She donned a pair of black leather high heels of medium height. Her makeup was exquisite, with her hair styled in a simple bun, and there were a pair of small diamond earrings dangling from her ears. She was carrying an expensive leather bag that matched her attire's color. One could tell she had a refined life which she wasn't required to do hard work looking at her fair and slender fingers. A large diamond ring was sparkling between her fingers.

This woman's figure was stunning, her disposition elegant. She was filled with a noble charisma from head to toe. Right then, she looked down on Lauren with a lofty posture, and there was a huge group of servants behind her.

They stared at each other and was sizing each other up. Lauren could clearly smell the hostility coming from this woman. She had a very strong instinct that she came for her! However, as she looked at her somewhat sophisticated attire, she felt that it wasn't Willy's taste. Even if the woman looked well maintained, she could see that she was slightly on the mature side as she was at least in her thirties, much older than him!

No matter who she was and what she was thinking, it likely had nothing to do with her!

Her lips had already parted, but before Lauren could say anything, a sharp, boisterous voice smashed towards her like a gust of wind. "Are you the one trying to use your child as a means of getting rich?"
