"What did you say? Victoria?" He was shocked. All at once, he turned on his phone and scrolled through it to dial Victoria's number.

"Sorry, the number you dialed is unavailable. Please try again later..."

"You don't deserve her!"

Not being able to get in touch with Victoria, Trevor was irritated. Anthony added fuel to fire by mocking him. Flying into a rage, Trevor stepped forward to grab Anthony by his collar, fuming.

"It's not up to you to judge whether or not I deserve her! Did you harass her again? Anthony, I've warned you. Looks like it was too light of a lesson!"

Victoria had almost been paralyzed as a result of Anthony's doing! At the thought of that, Trevor clenched his teeth and exerted more strength in his grasp without realizing it.

Grabbing his wrist, Anthony went still, but his face gradually turned bluish. Witnessing the scene, Selena was anxious. "Trevor, what are you doing? Don't act impulsively. You might strangle him to death..."

The next second, Anthony grabbed Trevor by the collar in return. He struggled and could finally force a sound out of his mouth. "It's you! You're the one who tampered with the projects of the elements family! You're the most despicable man I've ever met! D*mn!"

If it hadn't been for him, Victoria would be his bride right then!

Gripping his collar, Anthony struck a punch over, trembling with hatred. With a flip of his hand, Trevor launched a heavy counterattack.

Turning sideways, Anthony dodged. The two of them advanced and retreated by turns before they went crashing into the corner in an instant, dragging each other by their collars.

"Despicable? Anthony, I'm much more than that. You'd better not mess with me! I'm warning you, don't provoke Victoria. She's my wife. If not, I'll never let you go!"

With a flung of his hand, Trevor pushed him away. As soon as he turned around, a cold voice sounded from behind him. "Do you really think she loves you? You don't know her well!"

As he slowly turned around, Trevor's brows furrowed into a tight frown.

"You hurt her in the cruelest way possible. It will remain forever carved in her heart until she's brought into the coffin!" That was why Anthony was certain that Victoria wasn't sincere towards Trevor. She would feel wronged. There must be a reason for her actions?

Did she compromise for the best?

It was possible! It would, however, not last forever!

Anthony's words hurt Trevor in his sore spot. Trevor's face revealed subtle changes. It was the same entangled knot for him deep in his heart, wasn't it?

Since it was in the past, there was no use regretting it! If it hadn't been for that issue, he might have never had the chance for her to stay by his side, nor would he own what he possessed that day. As he thought so to himself, he felt less regretful.

"You don't have to worry about this! Even if she enters the coffin, the person staying by her side will still be me! If you have time to worry about her, you'd better worry more about the deadline of the loan! After sending Selena to her room, Trevor left in a hurry.

After getting in the car, he dialed Victoria's number again. To his relief, the call connected.

"No! A mere scratch isn't that big of a big deal! It's settled, but I had to suffer a loss to spend some money on the repair. It costs 50,000 dollars!"

At the thought of it, Victoria was both distressed and mad! How unlucky she had been!

"Your hands are injured, yet you're still in the mood to worry about the money! Don't drive in the future. Tell the driver to send you wherever you want to go!"

Just as she was about to reject his suggestion, Victoria nodded seeing how gloomy his face was. "Oh." How did he know that she was met with an accident?

With one frown of hers in confusion, Trevor understood and pointed out, "Anthony told me!"
