That night, Frederick had been driving and running around. He was exhausted. After taking a shower, he went straight to bed.

Tiredness welled up in him. He carefully held her in his arms and his heart seemed to calm down in an instant. Before he closed his eyes, he lowered his head and kissed her on her forehead.

He mumbled, "Sorry..."

Alicia didn't know whether she was hallucinating. Until a steady breathing sound could be heard, she slowly opened her eyes again, in a trance for some reason.

She didn't know if it was because she had slept too much during the day or that she was devastated., she had insomnia that night.

The next day, when Frederick opened his eyes, he was holding a pillow in his arms. The bed was empty!

He stretched his arms as he let go of the pillow. All of a sudden, he felt empty in his heart. It seemed that it was Alicia's first time getting up earlier than he did!

Only when he hot up did he found that the sun was already shining brightly. It was almost nine o'clock!
