"Mmm."

Trevor snorted. He didn't say yes or no, but his heart was pounding. He was thinking if he should give her an answer when his cell phone rang. He leaned to the side and pressed the answer button.

"Yes, it's me!"

"What? I'll be there right away!"

As he turned around, Trevor opened the door and jumped into the car, leaving in a hurry. Behind him, he raised his hand, and Nina still called him reluctantly,

"Master Trevor!"

Clenching her hands into fists, the regret and resentment in Nina's eyes were obvious. Was that Victoria who called? Was it that woman again?

He left so fast. Did Trevor really care for her that much?

Her ruddy lips were pursed into a line. She raised her hand and sniffed the back of her hand, and then Nina lowered her head and entered the door.

Trevor rushed to the hospital. As soon as he stepped out of the elevator, he looked up and saw that Alicia was holding Victoria in her arms and standing on the stairs. Her movements were a little difficult, she obviously could not hold up.

After a few large strides, he rushed over and held the withered girl. "Vicky?"

"What's going on?"

Dizzily lying down, Victoria mumbled, "No! Don't touch me!"

Knowing that Trevor was talking to her, Alicia heaved a sigh of relief and said,

"Why are you here? It's okay, don't worry. I accompanied her for a colonoscopy. Her body has absorbed too much of the anesthetic, and she is still a little unconscious. I really can't handle her alone."

Victoria opened her arms and seemed to be dreaming. She groaned and didn't know what to say.

Hugging her, Trevor's heart was almost in his throat. "Vicky, you're fine!"

He touched the hair on her forehead and saw that her clothes were draped and crooked. Trevor held her body and helped her sort it out.

While he was helping her, Alicia said,

"There is a lounge in front, and we have to wait for the result! How about you help her go over first? She should be completely awake after a while!"

Trevor picked her up and the three turned to the waiting room!

Trevor helped her sit down and said, "Thank you for today! Is she not well? Why didn't I know?"

Why didn't she tell him about the examination?

Holding the confused woman in his arms, the guilt and disappointment on Trevor's face were obvious. Was he really so unqualified?

She was not well and did a colonoscopy, and was holding onto Alicia. How could he not notice that?
