Alicia's words had unknowingly troubled Trevor. Even though Victoria's little surgery was very successful, she was still forced to rest for a few days.

Afterward, they visited a famous herbalist. They left with some medicine and recipes.

The two clasp hands on the way home. They walked slowly, yet no one said a word.

Victoria was upset about their baby too. It used to be so healthy, but suddenly it was fragile and vulnerable. She never had to visit the hospital as frequently before, but for the past couple of years, the hospital was basically her second home.

She stood frozen at the crossroad as the doctor's words lingered in her mind.

The red lights turned green, and the green lights turned red. Upon seeing her daydreaming and sighing, Trevor didn't yank her across the street. He rested his arms on her neck and gently massaged her hair. Instead of comforting her with words, he planted kisses on her forehead to soothe her.

In an instant, Victoria's face turned red as she came back to her senses. She pushed him away as her eyes bounced around.

"What are you doing?" She scolded, "Be serious!"

They were in public, surrounded by people! He was already pretty eye-catching, but he still acted so recklessly!

"What? What should I be afraid of ?"

Trevor stood in front of her and caressed her cheeks, "We've already stood through two green lights! Vicky...you worry too much!"

The doctor said that her illness and her physique were more or less affected by her mental state! Therefore, even though her body was strong and healthy, if her mental mind was handling too much stress and tension, she would still fall sick easily!

In fact, when the doctor pointed out the time, Trevor wasn't surprised at all. After that incident, after meeting him, she hadn’t been doing well!

She couldn't let it go!

Of course, till this point, Trevor had done a pretty decent job. Even though he was excited, he still took the necessary protective measures. He didn't let his enthusiasm completely take over him. She recalled an incident when he had almost reached his climax. However, he was too rough and the c*ndom unexpectedly broke. He was really upset about it, so she compromised and even told him to continue. Despite that, he didn't want her to take any medicine after they were done, so he insisted on finishing the job in the bathroom himself!

After that incident, she had seen him as a different person. At least, she didn't think of him as a desire-driven animal anymore, even though he coerced her into sleeping with him.

"You're silly!"

Trevor understood her micro-expression. He clutched her hand and brushed his lips against the back of her hand.

"I'd give up on the child if it endangered your life! Even though I'm eager to have children with you, if I ever have to choose between you and the child, the answer would, no doubt, be you!"

Passion and desire burnt in Trevor's eyes.

"Coming to this world, I just want to live a life I won't regret. As for the future, if I close my eyes, I won't know what it'll look like, will I? I want you to be safe, no more injuries, no more pain. Having a child with you is merely icing on a cake. Even if my parents urge us on the matter-l'd be here for you!"

Trevor stroked her hair as he spoke.

"If this is what you've been worrying about, you can stop thinking about it now! Just enjoy your happy life like before! Vicky, we're still very young!"

He meant that they still had a lot of opportunities in the future!

They didn’t have to hurry anything!

He reached out his long arms and gave her a warm hug. Trevor leaned against her and whispered into her ear, "If you can't pull through, just tell me!"

When he lowered his voice, she knew how important his dignity was to him. Regardless, she didn't expect that last sentence from him. Victoria was both touched and amused.

"Hehe! If this spreads out, you'll definitely make the headlines! The great Master Trevor's reputation will surely..." be devastated!

She looked up and giggled. Under the gentle sunlight, she was like hundreds of blooming flowers. She was perhaps the most lovely thing he'd ever seen!

"Animal! That d*mn animal!" She cursed as her cheeks reddened, "What a pervert! Shameless!"

Waverly continued spitting profanities, yet the anger was still burning inside of her, "D*mn it! Has he never seen a woman before? He was really rough!"

He even bit her skin off! It had been so many days, yet the bruise didn't fade. Instead, a tiny scab was forming!

For the past couple of days, Waverly had to put some cotton wool on her wound before she wore any clothes. She felt that she had been a little too kind to the man that day.

"Next time, I'll buy a larger steel fork! I'll poke two big holes in your body! I'll poke you to death!"

Waverly spitted out another round of blasphemy. She even wanted to eat his meat and drink his blood.

However, the moment she opened the bathroom door, she regained her helplessness yet distress. She climbed onto her bed and pulled a pillow over her chest as she flipped through the pad in her hand. She subconsciously checked her phone's dial history in her other hand and couldn't help but sigh.

"Alas..."

Simultaneously, a familiar knock on the door could be heard. It was followed by a familiar sound, "Waverly, are you asleep?"

Waverly straightened her back and called out, "No! The door's not locked, come in!"

The door quickly swung open as Harry Castle came inside the room with a small plate in hand. He scanned the room and realized she was already in bed. He then strolled over to the tea table and put down the food.

"You lazy little brat! I was afraid you'll be hibernating later, so I thought of coming over a little earlier!"

Sure enough, she was already in bed!

After all, he was a man in a woman's room, and it was late at night. It just seemed unsuitable! However, they were both so busy during the day that he couldn't even speak to her.

Waverly slipped off the bed with the pillow in her arms. Her hair was disheveled and her face was clean without makeup. She was a mess yet she seemed like an innocent child as she sat down cross-legged on the sofa.

"What's the matter, Harry?"

Harry gave her some snacks and inquired, "That should be my line, shouldn't it?"
