Alicia widened her eyes, feeling as if she had fallen for his trap again. Before she could react, her thoughts had melted into a mess, leaving her muddled in a daze.

Absence made the heart grow fonder. The long period of separation from each other's embrace and the continuous teasing from Alicia all day made Frederick a little out of control. In that instant, he felt puzzled and speechless at himself. She had not done anything to him and he had a satisfying, complete night the day before. Why was he losing restraint so easily?
