Thinking of how she was scolded by Frederick that day, Alicia felt inexplicably heartbroken.

Mrs. Clements figured out that Frederick had something to tell Danica. "Okay! Off you go! Come back earlier and be safe on the road!" Both Danica's car and Frederick's car reached a quiet lake. Then, they got out of their cars and went for a walk.

After walking away for a while, Danica stopped and turned around. She tugged on her hair and started to shout in an agitated tone.

"What do you want from me? Why are you doing this to me? Why didn't you tell me she was there in the first place? Are you trying to embarrass me? Are you trying to show me your affection for her?"

Frederick frowned while putting his hands in his pockets. He kept his distance from Danica and started to speak in an angry tone, "Danica, you were way too over tonight!"

"What did you just say?"

Danica was startled by Frederick's anger. She couldn't understand why she was blamed when she was the one that got bullied.

"Come on. Do you really think I didn't know what you were doing tonight? Saying all those things, I saw right through your plan! Danica, Alicia is my wife. I care about her and I love her. It's normal for us to be lovey-dovey. Why didn't you wait for me before you went in? Why didn't you listen to me? And no, I didn't know Alicia was there. Did you know that I canceled my dinner with Mr. Andrews and came here? I was here to stop you from talking nonsense! Why wouldn't you understand me?
