In a burst of inspiration, Alicia was so focused on drawing that she had forgotten that it was time to get off work.

She carefully inserted her sketch in a folder and kept it in the drawer. She then shut down her computer and got ready to return home. She thought that since Frederick had been so good to her that day, she needed to do something in return as well.

After some consideration, she decided to buy some ingredients at the supermarket to make ravioli. "No black pepper for him, he's had enough of it!" she thought to herself.

She wanted him to quit eating black pepper!

Alicia couldn't help but laugh as she thought of this.

She left the office happily with her bag on her arm.

However, the smile was wiped from her face as soon as she left the office. She saw Lindsay at the main gate.

"Why is she here again?"

After a long sigh, she bit the bullet and walked over. To no one's surprise, Lindsay rushed over angrily and a magazine was thrown at Alicia.

"Alicia Blanchard, you shameless little b*tch!"

Looking down, she noticed that it was the piece of news Frederick had shown her. Amongst the photos, she noticed that one of them was of her and Jeremy!

She immediately understood why Lindsay was here again. She glared at Lindsay and said sarcastically, "I see you've gotten worked up again, should I find a way to calm the burning fire within you?"

One kept pestering her while another was out for her blood. What was wrong with both of them? What did any of it have to do with her?

"Are you trying to record our conversation again? Yeah, I am cursing you, so what? You sl*t, vixen, you shameless b*tch! You f*cking wh*re!"

A stream of curses flowed from Lindsay's mouth and Alicia remained silent until Lindsay finally stopped.

"Are you done? Can I leave now?"

It was always the same curses. Wasn't Lindsay tired of it?

"You're just covering up your lies with excuses! You can lie to everyone but not me! You obviously can't forget Jeremy! If you really don't care about him, why didn't you pawn those butterfly earrings when you were so broke that you had no place to sleep? You are such a scheming b*tch! Who knows what horrible ideas you have in your mind? Aren't you wearing those earrings every day just to make Jeremy think that you are still thinking about him? Something is not right with him too, he would always just stare at a shirt in a daze, which also has a pair of butterflies inked on it! Is it because of you that he treasures that shirt like his baby? And you! Why did you attend that event? Not only that, you even helped him do his tie! If it's just a normal photo, then why did he download it and save it on his phone?"

Lindsay's face was flushed red with anger as she roared, "You're obviously trying to make him think of you! You're a f*cking b*tch!"

In an instant, Alicia fell into a daze. She remembered that she did design a suit for Jeremy for one of his birthdays. It was the only men's clothing that she had ever designed and she had finished it all by herself. After that, designing was something that was only left in her past.

Because it was her first time and she was inexperienced, the cuttings weren't perfect and it wasn't comfortable. However, Jeremy was indeed really happy on that day; he was really excited. The both of them almost slept together that day, but in the end, she avoided it with tears in her eyes. That day was probably the first time they almost lost control!

Upon seeing Alicia's reaction, Lindsay thought that she had gotten it right. She grew even more furious.

"You'd better stop thinking about it! No matter what you do and no matter how much he loves you, he will never ever be with you! His only sister committed suicide because of your brother, his mother had also gone insane because of this. He hates you so much that he came back this time to seek revenge for his sister! Do you think that he loves you? Do you even know why he pursued you? Think about why he did that to your family!"

Lindsay then sneered.

"He wants your family to suffer so bad that you would rather die! Furthermore, in his heart, you are just an arrogant, ostentatious girl who can't take hardships. How could he be attracted to you, a woman that was willing to sell herself for money? You didn't know that, right? I have been in contact with him for the past three years after he broke up with you. I was the one who accompanied him while he was abroad. But, who knew that we would meet you when we returned! I was the one who told him all the news about you. So what if you kept yourself clean while you were dancing at the nightclub? In his mind, he thinks that your job is to sleep with all those men at work! I thought that he had finally given up but I never thought that he would return to Casterwich City to expand his business! On my father's birthday, it was I who had thrown you over to an old man. What a pity that he didn't get to see it. You also got what you deserved -that must've been your first time but you didn't bleed!"
